Grease instead of oil in diffs?

Newbie here. I just opened the differentials of my Kyosho DBX VE 2.0, and there was no oil, just grease. There is also no mention of filling the diffs with oil in the maintenance manual, only applying grease. However, everybody seems to be saying that you fill them with oil.

As I'm not planning to race, is it ok if I just apply some heavy duty grease to the differentials, rather than fill it with oil? The diffs have o rings and do seem to be sealed.

Yeah nothing wrong with using grease in the diffs. You can get different thicknesses of grease as well so, if your diff doesnt support oil then you can change it to a heavier grease if you want the diff to be stiffer :)
