Running dual Hobbywing Quicrun Fusion motors question?

Considering using two Hobbywing Quicrun Fusion motors in a MOA crawler ( mainly as I have two in possession!)

They have built in ESC and provide power to the RX and servo......I could mix the motors on my TX  to give overdrive/underdrive to the axles....

My question is, how do I wire it?

Do I just plug both onto my RX and good to go? Or will that produce smoke by overloading something?

Thanks guys

I did the sensible thing and emailed. Hobbywing......

Its ok to plug both in.....Im not the sharpest tool in the box with things electric (I know it can get ouchy!) so i dont quite inderstand the red wire thing......

In this scenario you'd usually disconnect the red and black on one of the Rx, thus leaving one ESC with just the white cable connected. This is to keep the BECs separate.

That's what I was taught. Just be sure to tape over the exposed ends.

Hi Paul, I've just received a RTR bully 2 and have been thinking of doing the same with Fusions after I tear it down and go through everything with loctite and a fine toothed comb lol, just wondering how this test worked out for you before I drop $300 on these motors. I liked the idea of having the esc weight on the axles as well. Also, did you go 1200 or 1800 kv?  thanks.

Epic fail! The motors are too long and collide with the suspension links!

Real shame as it could have been a nice compact low cg set up....
