Servo saver - do I want one?

Gandalf

Recommended Posts

I see from the review of the Tamiya Rock Socker (which should arrive soon)  the following recommendation  "If you want 4 wheel steering make sure you order part no 51000 servo saver x1, for rear steering This is a great kit.).

My questions are do I need one and why?

Thanks in anticipation.

Four wheel steering means you can add the steering parts (Steering servo saver is the bit which goes onto the servo) to have front and rear steering.

So if you want normal front wheel steering you won't need any additional parts. If you want the front and rear axles to steer, you will need the additional parts.
