Jambo.26
HI I’ve just received a spektrum smart charger S1200 DC. But there is no mains charger. Am I missing something or bought the wrong charger 🤦♂️
Smoothybb
The article I've just read states it needs to be paired with a capable dc power supply. So looks like you need a separate ac to dc unit.
Stormbringer
yeh its a DC charger worked of a 12v battery or transformer
m4inbrain
As said before, yes, you did buy the wrong charger. DC chargers are intended to run off of a 12v car battery or a transformer/power supply. What you want is an AC or AC/DC charger, which has a mains lead. Like this one. https://www.spektrumrc.com/Products/Default.aspx?ProdID=SPMXC1080 It's more expensive because it has the power supply built in. Fret not, i know a few people who thought "i'll save a buck here" and ended up buying the wrong charger. Me included, though i did it with a cheaper one.
