£200 recomendation please

As title, I'm looking for my 1st monster truck for around the £200 mark, not a strict budget but not looking at spending a great deal more, I have spare electrics so I don't mind going down the Tamiya kit or is there anything in particular to look at getting?

Really struggling as I have only ever had truggy, stadium trucks and on road, I'm just after something for bashing with my son and his madbull, thanks

Possibly the associated rival mt10 if you want something good. A tad over £200 but I'd say it's worth it. You could get the ftx bugsta if you wanted something cheaper but it's nowhere near as good as far as I know.

2wd or 4wd ? Brushed or brushless ? Kit or rtr ?

Have a look at those new Corally trucks or the FTX range are all within your budget

my money would go here

The Corally trucks are 2wd but well built

brushed version

this goes very well and pops wheelies almost on command . my son has this and i was that impressed by it i got the brushless version

this really goes well and at times its hard keep front wheels on ground

These may be worth considering and within your budget all they require to run are Lipo's and charger 🍻

get the brushless triton it is stupidly over powered and even the brushed one is over specced for  the money, i have fun with my brushed one on 2s but after seeing and having a shot of dads brushless one also on 2s it is completely insane and makes my brushed one look like it is sitting there at full throttle.

night and day between brushed or brushless tritons on same 2s batteries :)

i changed my servo saver on my brushed one to a tamiya one  and got tighter more consistant cornering plus used tamiya soft shock oil on the front, helps either turn better :)
