Your too agressive mate. If that was my Corsa I would be proud.. The guy as spent a few bob on his car and if it was me I would be cheesed off at your comments. What would be impressive would be one that has been left alone on the outside and the user actually spent money on the engine and handling, or even better, just buy another car. From the indie it had 2 recaro bucket setas, 4 point harneses and a 2.0 red top engine with throtle bodys and an engine built by him self. Includin a launch button which hel the car at the corrects revs for a perfect launch. the front axle was mounted on leaf springs and the rear on coil overs this allowed the front axle to twist a little and not judder like shocks would after the build the corsa could do the quater mile in 11 seconds roughly (timmed a santa pod) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
martin Posted May 4, 2007 Share Posted May 4, 2007 My brothers boss/freind is into his cars big time i think he has 2 cosworths ones an escort which has only done about 5000 miles its in his showroom. he has loads of cars for grass tracking. has a few mk2 escorts with bored out 2ltr pintos in them. The funniest one though is an old ford anglia with a bored out pinto which kicks out over 210 bhp my brother fitted the engine and modified everything so the engine would fit, to look at it it just looks standard but its a death trap, it just wheel spins still in 3rd gear i dont no what the top speed is but bottom end its unbeliavable the boy racers hate it when they get blown away by it. its well funny to see it set off. marty Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

antnee Posted May 5, 2007 Share Posted May 5, 2007 the front bumper is like the fashion about 2 years ago, the skirts are like 4years out of date, never noticed a rear bumper like that before. the nicest corsa ive seen is white, not to much done to the body but it had a 2.5l V6 in, might of been turbo'ed as well i dont want to start a massive ive got a better car thread, but get £2,000(max) together and buy yourself a lovely toyota MR2 mk2. heres my bro's with new skirts, he's got some more things in the pipeline though Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Littlechat Posted May 6, 2007 Share Posted May 6, 2007 I like the MR2. Quality cars, but I'm not over keen on the newer shape ones. My missus had a lovely mk 2 MR2, in a light bluey silver colour. It was only the 2 litre 16v GTI, not the turbo, but it still went like a rocket. Amazing to drive, handled brilliantly. She got rid of it though, coz it had got to the age where loads of stuff needed replacing on it. It was costing about a grand a year on replacement parts, MOT, servicing etc. That's the problem with Jap cars, they cost a fortune to service and maintain. She's got a bright yellow mk 2 Seat Ibiza Cupra Sport GTI now. Nice and easy to look after, I do most of the work on it coz it's basically a mk 3 Golf GTI engine in a mk 4 Polo chassis. Pretty good power, but outstanding torque compared to a similar size petrol engine. Those things shift! My MK2 golf whups Cooper S's too. No engine mods at all, just an 8v GTI, but coz it's loads lighter without all those airbags, electric everything etc I totally caned a Mini on the way to work the other week.
