  1. you may see aftermarket versions later on, its been a big seller so far. That said I'd only expect alloy bumpers really unless the stock one is proved to be a particular flaw in design
  2. Then I have no idea, Garry maybe able to help when he's on. Maybe something is faulty
  3. yeh they will be, from what I've seen all the shells are thick
  4. everything plugged in correctly? and check the crystals
  5. I was gonna get the axial it has more power and torque the the k series, but cost was abig factor this time around so that why I got the sts, performance like this for £70 can't be bad
  6. I agree, hpi make some really good touring shells, I have a too many but another one won't hurt lol
  7. paul u do this alot, think before hitting your keyboard
  8. hobbythek sell them unpainted http://www.rc-car-online-shop.de/lshop,sho...offroad,,,,.htm
  9. but its so exspensive, the controls were terrible on the keyboard and the cars did'nt sound like nitro at all lol
  10. ah the job worthy nitro users, these are the ones who insist on every little thing being perfect, they're like robots repeating everything they read. My fave is the fuel debate, they go on as if it has a very short shelf life and must be FRESH at all times... funny how a 5 year old half a tub of 10% duraglo kept in a shed fired up my new .12 last year not to mention rusty cans of tornado I find in the garden all perfectly fine aslong as the lid is kept on
  11. hmm I dunno, I'd have said glue etc but u've tried them can't u put a longer bolt in so that it sticks out the other side of the engine then put a locknut on it
  12. no problem, number one rule with nitros is smoke, no matter what u wanna be seeing smoke the lsn is particualry dodgy and catches alot of people out as running it lean just a tadge kill acceleration but u don't see it until u back it off, but u don't nor feel the need to as its running fine or so u think....
  13. --> QUOTE(Matt B @ Jun 20 2007, 09:01 PM) ←It usually takes about a week, i ordered on the weekend, came on the friday. And CC i though having no mid range was a good thing? hell no! if u know what u are doing tinkering the mid range is like rubbing a womens g-spot, my old 4.6 LOVED IT
  14. theres a link on the item page on MS to the officail, I downloaded it off the site last year, it still should be there. I think u got one car and one track
  15. just realised the sts does'nt have a mid range
  16. I downloaded the on road one, it was crap, the cars handled awful and sounded pathetic! u should be able to get rc de go on the ps1 on ebay for pennies and its 10x better bar grafix! hope this new one turns out to be better
  17. it changes regulary, only special people off here get mentioned, well done martinsmith1979 - when tuning the lsn its sort of the same as the hsn but instead of looking at top speed u'll be seeing an improvment in acceleration. As u lean it out u will see it pull away faster, when the lsn gets too lean u will see little or no smoke and u'll also hear the engine screaming it'll sound like it working too hard. physically if its too lean it'll probably stall on you but also look out for a fast pull away to a sudden slow down or very un-easy revs (as if the engine is coughing) Basically start then engine and get it warmed up,lean the lsn by one 1/8 of a turn and accelerate for about 5 seconds then stop wait a few seconds for the revs to drop a bit and do it again. Repeat a few times until u've seen the improvement (it maybe very small and barely noticable at first) the turn the lsn by 1/8 again and repeat the whole thing. keep doing it until u encounter the symtoms mentioned above, at the stage back of 1/8-1/4 of a turn, u want a fast smooth accelration with a decent trail of smoke and rememeber its the acceleration u'r focusing on not top speed. When the lsn is to lean u'll see little smoke when its to too lean the problems start Your idle will more than likely need adjusting afterwards
  18. around £190 i think but its £10 more for the subaru shell version off modelsport, I'd check but I can't get on the site at the mo..
  19. I'm not so sure, I've only experience improvement when doing they same thing, but its not entirly impossible that its the problem, still I'd try tuning a bit first.
  20. very tru, the planet has an extreme weather cycle spanning over millions of years, once over in the uk summers were practically no existant and at other times u guys homed exotic animals. Floods, tornados etc in the uk is nothing new, we just were'nt alive to see it all those times they occured in the past global warming is just and excuse to tax us even more lol You can tell this by the half ass'd effort people and the world take on the matter, I mean spending 4-5 times as much (£millions) widening the M1 than the annual budget to "fight" global warming says it all. Obviously allowing more cars on the road is more important.....and makes more money££
  21. 16% o 'donnels would be my choice of fuel and don't worry about perfromance, once tuned it will fly good luck, have fun
  22. yes u tune the lsn in the same way as the hsn be be a bit more carefully and patient aslong as u are you seeing smoke on acceleration then u can tune it, a lean lsn will fly off fast, with little or no smoke, it will sound screamy and possible stall at the top of the scream. Lean out your lsn in 1/8 increments taking note on how many time u do it, that way u can put it back if the problem persists, u may not see the results of each 1/8 adjustment fully until after 30sec-1 min driving.
