Build thread for my e Revo V1 to V2

After owning a very unreliable Revo 2.5r as a child I always fancied another Revo but never got round to getting one, I finally have and will have the fun of building it!

V2 components & new bits

Front & rear arms

Front & rear drive shafts

Transmission drive shafts

Steering links

Front & rear skid plates

Front & rear diffs - the main reason for the build!

Chassis

Hobbywing max Max 8

Hobbywing 2200kv motor

Proline 3.8 trenchers

Traxxas 15t pinion

Traxxas 65t spur

V1 components

Rear wing

Front and rear bumper

Transmission

Shocks

Servos

Shell

Body mounts

Rockers etc

Think I have all the bits, will update if any others are needed.

Is the chassis different? That has to be changed too? I was hoping it was just the bulkheads needed in order to change to the newer diffs.

Unfortunately so, the diffs are within the bulkheads of the 2.0 where as the 1.0 the difs have a houseing inside the of bulkheads. The 2.0 diffs are also much larger thankfully but mean there is a slight bulge in the chassis to accommodate the larger diffs

You also have to change the drive shafts due to the huge drive cups on the new diffs, which also means new knuckles & bearings, the arms can be re used and the center drive shafts can be re used although a put the new ones on with the V1 transmission I had to cut the front center drive shaft down as the V1 transmission connector bits are longer than the v2
