Sandwich/Deal Area in Kent for Crawling??

Hi all, my I have bought my son (6) an FTX Kanyon for Christmas and I've picked up a Carisma Coyote so we can bash together.

 

Can anyone recommend some good sites for crawling/bashing near Sandwich/Dover/Deal??  Or any meet ups?

Might be worth checking this out bud.

 

Paddlesworth RC track. They are making a crawler track at the moment.

The crawler/scaler track at paddlesworth is quite awesome. Bob builds new things almost weekly. Dan and John who run it are very open to people building what they want to run on so long as it will be used.

 

There's also the Warren at Folkstone, where they dumped all the spoil from the channel tunnel.

 

There's also the Kent Scaler crawler group on FB who meet up around Kent.

Just remember you will need insurance, BRCA, I'd wait until January to get it though, as I think it runs Jan - Dec.

I imagine if you contact Dan on his facebook group, he'll let you pop over and see what's going on.

I'd love to go there and give it a blast, but it's more of a trek for me.

Hopefully in spring I might go down and have a look.
