Brushless baja gearing???

After trawling the internet I didn't really get anywhere so would try here I have a brushless baja running castle 2028 800kv motor and max 5 esc on 8s. So far I am geared 57/14 and have no temp issues at all. Pinion for these are a bit pricey so I can't afford to try lots of different gearing options. Does anyone know if 16/57 would work without stressing anything out too much. Side note I will be adding a blower for the motor before upping the gearing  any advice or experience appreciated

A 16t is fine, I ran one when mine was a buggy, but I've gone back to the stock 14t now I run a cage :good:

Be good to see some pics of Baja please Dan :)

I have a baja buggy with Toro 200a/780kv and used 14t, moved up to 15t no real difference still fast enough, then moved onto 18t and everything was cool. Only down side was running out of room too quick. But on next outing switched esc on and poof, it died[emoji20] looking at max6/5 next.
