Big wheels on a truggy hardly makes an MT imo...

Was pretty much my first question to tekno uk when I saw it.  Followed by asking if they wanted to take it for a bash side by side with the MTe...

I like this a lot another swb monster with 1/8th parts for durability is always fun fun fun !!

Not cheap though £389 and you still need electronics shell and wheels and tyres

Blown my Christmas funds but this might be one for the Birthday list ;)

I do like the looks of it and the 1/8th truck body looks better proportioned round the wheel arch area than on an official 1/8th.

I think one of my D812 buggies is going to get a truggy face lift now. It's not in use so why not

I'll have to see what I've got.

Might have to use Trophy truggy front knuckle sets tho..... Boooooooooooooo.

Edit: Product info sheet shows MSRP $749.99

Clearly Tekno attended the same mind bending drugs influenced pricing party as Arrma

Yep. I think they were tripping

They've got it for £364.69. So when it hits the u.k. then it'll be more like £550 I suppose

Just been scrutinizing the manual (as I do) sad.

Its already here on pre order for £389

Pricey but with the parts included and there reputation for durability is it poor value if I hadn't of just bought the Outcast I'd gave one ;)

Does look solid. I'm broke atm so I've decided after mulling for months my spare D812 is getting the Muggy treatment after seeing this  ;)

6s with a 1700kv and already got shockwaves, talons, + grinders all on desperado's.

It's a no-brainer :insane:

Not broke anything on my NT48 yet, it takes a lickin and keeps on tickin

Plus you have a Warrantee on any part you break. Send it off to Tekno Europe and they'll email you a 50% discount code for a replacement

That's not really a warranty then... That's almost as bad as Krakens attempt at there 'no quibble' warranty where actually, they simply offer you a 25% discount on something that's about 50% overpriced anyway.

I'm missing something?  Really don't see the appeal of a crappy looking MT shell on a Truggy? I would rather just have a truggy

My thoughts exactly.

Truggy would handle better, look a lot better and probably jump better due to the lower shell and less parachuting.

They've obviously had Traxxas' pricing department on with this one

Technically it's a Muggy (truggy on a buggy base). Doesn't come with a body, you pick your own preference so a stadium truck type could poss fit. No wheels/tyres or electrics either for that matter.

It is pretty pricey but looks solid.

What we think it is and what they are calling it, are two different things.

I'm calling it what they are calling it.

Although either way I think it looks horrible myself.

 Then buy a truggy lol

These swb trucks are just so much fun to drive that's what your missing !

Beauty is in in the eye of the beholder ! Some might think your Barbarian build is just plan ugly as sin, and rather silly with its rather niche market, we just all have different tastes and out looks dosen't make one more right than others
