SLP Posted October 12, 2016 Share Posted October 12, 2016 Afternoon all. I brought my son a Maverick ION a few months back, we are both enjoying it and have already gone through many spares. All was good up until a few months ago when parts became unavailable. The receiver (MV28101) became faulty and I attempted to buy the replacement part, but could not find it. Still today its not available. Last week by mistake I brought the MSRS 28 2 in 1 receiver ESC (MV28056) after excitedly spotting it online after a couple of cold ones. Upon arrival of course its different but I thought this could still bind to the controller and I could mount it onboard to get the car working. The new part has a "SW" button, not sure what that is and its influence on binding to the transmitter (if any) I've tried combinations between the transmitter and Receiver but cant bind. Maybe this isn't possible? Has anyone been successful in this at all. Also when will parts be available again? Sorry for the novice questions, its our first "proper" RC and certainly wont be our last. Would really appreciate any help on this. Thanks, Richard PS apologies if this has been posted before.
