Maybe they've made a decision on which style of diff they're going to use? Seems to be hit and miss with the current version! Looks like a new style wing but only time will tell what kind of difference this makes.

I love mine, but agree with the above - i hope they're sorted out the slop.

May I ask how?

  • RPM Ballends with a little piece of foam in em (4-40size)
  • Carbon ackermann plate with plumbers pfte tape round the screw inside the bearing
  • A little pfte (plumbers tape) tape round the bushing for the c-hub
  • shim the hex's if need be.
  • Pfte tape on servo ball stud if need be.

I hate slop and this little emb has less than any of my other rc's :)

@Silone:  I'm aware the tenshocks have 3 kv's to choose but can u confirm that with this kit/package you can choose what u want?

Sorry to drag that in this topic but some questions on that:

1. You mean RPM Heavy Duty Rod Ends (12) 4-40?

2. Carbon ackermann plate - any hint on producer / source? SOSx? or any other?

3. Shims - any particular size fits best? M4 by?

4. Once slop is gone, doesn't it impairs racing capabilities by introducing too much friction / more work for servo? And how about off-road capabilities?

Ok so lc racing say to contact tenshock for the different kv motors for other kv's stating they only have one version but didn't say which one they had, tenshock have 4 different kv, looks like you need to order separately if you want a certain one

$39 from http://www.funshobby.com/tenshock-4-pole-brushless-motor-for-1-14-racing-car.html
