These buggies I believe are circa 1995, I've had them for at least 15 years, have seen plenty over fuel of the years, so not as fast as they once were. However they both ran just fine when last used and would make for good winter bashers.

All diffs and shocks would need refilling/checking before use.

The Kyosho is in ok condition for the age/use, with some spares and wheels with off road tyres.

The centre diff in the Kyosho is filled with blutack, as I took the front drive shaft out for some RWD fun 2/3 years back, but have put the drive shaft back in the other day, centre diff still filled with blutack.

Comes with standard Hyper radio, is a bit glitchy at distance, 2.4ghz would be best I think.

I got this with my Hyper ST, and before converting to electric tested to see if it would start.

It did start and run as you can see in the video that I done last year, but I'm guessing looking at the condition of it, is a pretty much new engine, it has very high compression.

With no pullstart and a handheld 12v starter wheel with a rubber wheel that kept coming off, it was a right buggar to start. Two hairdryers in action to help etc etc.

Although I've never used one, I can imagine a proper starter box would make life a lot easier.

 

 

I took it apart before starting it, to clean out the inside as it had some fluff in the air filter hole.

Even though I would say this engine is as new, I of course can't guarantee it, so check the pics yourself and see.

Hi bud , I might be interested in the motor , I'm rebuilding a hyper 8.5 , thing is I've seen a very similar dynamite motor on eBay for £70 New with pipe , what'd be the best you could do ?

Hi mate, you don't have a link per chance? I did try and find one the same as mine to get a price, but just guessed in the end lol.

What would you be after, just the engine? Or engine, mounts and exhaust?

The only thing I read about pricing seemed to be a suggestion, rather than a rule.
