shefbiker
I'm looking to upgrade the stock servos I'm my 1/8nitro buggy. Does anyone have any experience of the hitec HS645? It looks reasonable value. Any comments? Any alternatives to consider? There seem to be loads! Thank you
smeghead28
It's a bit old hat now. Once upon a time it was considered one of the better servos but you can get better for the same sort of money (or less) now.

eamo1978
Savox 1256/ace ds1015/xpert sn3401 for steering. Savox 0252 for throttle. Edited March 2, 2015 by eamo1978
RCbutcher
Isn't the 645 like 25kg torque.
Anthoop
Isn't the 645 like 25kg torque. 9.6 with 6volts.... http://www.servodatabase.com/servo/hitec/hs-645mg
capri-boy
I had the 645 for steering in a Hyper, did the job well - have the wp one in another Hyper still. Not the quickest but more than enough power for a 8th buggy. My only annoyance was getting replacement horns, being 24t splined.
