Cleaning: how do you clean yours?

My boy and I finally manger to get out today to stretch the legs of our hypers. Even though there was not much in the way of jumps we had a load of fun in the leaves and spraying ourselves with mud and chunks of grass.

A tyre splitting from its rim ended my fun and while watching my son drive his around I looked down at mine and thought...

"I've got to clean that now"

So, clean it while the mud is moist or wait until it dries? What do you do? I'm thinking I'm going to try and do it before it dries up but I'm stuck cooking dinner lol.

So, how do you clean yours?

So far to clean mine i leave the bodyshell on and use the pressure washer and then blow it dry with air gun then use brake cleaner inside the car then air gun again

Without the battery in of course lol

I could probably do that with my sons as he has a waterproof esc and servo. Unfortunately my kit isn't waterproof...

I ended up scraping out the still damp mud and wiping all excess mud away with a warm damp sponge. Tons of mud, dirt and grass all over bath...thankfully my wife hasn't gone full Hulk smash mode but I'm close.

Anyways shells look great and chassis look ok but wheels still need doing. I also need to clean and re glue a tyre that came away from the rim. Is normal superglue adequate or is there some special rc stuff that is recommended?

I have used normal Superglue (the thin runny one) and I also have used some specifically for fixing tyres, looks exactly the same and both performed well.

Went with normal regular 10-for-a-pound superglue. Hopefully it will hold. Found it a bit difficult to clean right in the corners where the tyre just starts to come away from the rim. Ideally it would be best if the whole tyre came off so that all the surfaces that need gluing could be cleaned properly.
