johninderby Posted February 28, 2017 Share Posted February 28, 2017 Lego 42065 RC Tracked Racer Well not exactly what I'd call a racer although it could probably impress a snail. Went together easily in a few hours. A nice afternoons build. Actually runs quite well although not exactly fast. Don't think the stick on ones would stay on. johninderby Posted March 1, 2017 Share Posted March 1, 2017 Rubber plugs in the right size are about 40 quid for enough to do all the holes so have ordered some little wiring grommets that should fit and are more importantly cheap. johninderby Posted March 3, 2017 Share Posted March 3, 2017 (edited) Rubber grommets arrived for the tracks of the 42065 RC Tracked Racer. They should fit with a bit of minor trimming. About 148 or so of them to fit now. In the meantime finished the build of the Cobi Small Army Opel Blitz 3 ton truck and the 88 flak for it to tow. The Blitz is a rather nice kit Well worth the 17 quid I paid for it on sale and with the 88 flak for only another 12 quid a nice liitle budget project.
