ended up with something a little bigger for a case.

also swapped the arms for grey and added motor guards, and remounted the camera at 15 degrees.

It's an ssd and the magnetic field from the magnets is fairly weak outisde of its casing as you say.

Had a spare tricopter fram so ive decided to do an Y6 , ok its not finished as im waiting on the flight controller and esc's to be delivered .

The frame is an hmf y600 and i got some tarot 16mm moter mounts as the hmfs are not really adapted. got a longer cf tail boom also to make up for the lengh with the missing yaw mecanics .

Motors are sunnysky 4108s-11 600kv and the esc's will be rcx 40A, apm 2.6 flight controller.....

turnigy multistar elite 2204 2300kv motors

either 5x3, 5x4 or 6x4.5 props

1300mah 3 and 4s packs

hobbyking qbrain 4x20a esc

Prop size and flight time on the Y6?

Im planning a 12" 4S build what motor size KV would you suggest?

I was thinking 700Kv 2814 but no idea if thats about right.

Starting as a quad but will upgrade to a hex/Y6 for genral flying FPV with long flighttimes idealy...wont be carrying any heavy AP gear just a gopro hard mounted.
