cheaper than a lot of rc cars, all second user gear under £450 for this, incidentally the scope i bought new at discount, ended up selling it, then ended up buying it back a few years later

That's actually a lot less than I was expecting for a moon shot like that, looks really good! Can you capture planets at all?

Yes pretty much, using same telescope and tripod/mount by the way the mount has dual axis motor drive to track objects, but for planets would swap camera for something like a modded webcam or proper planetary camera, capture an avi video file then process the footage into a single pic by stacking frames, sounds complicated but pretty basic once you get started with it, i dont do planet imaging, dont have the patience for it though i did do Saturn once, not sure where the pic is now
