  1. btw. @Ocdcbr has couple of MCDs (not w5 but couple of RR5s) currently so you might also check with him, his YT channel over here https://www.youtube.com/user/maxNluca/videos
  2. Not idea, I don’t have FB account so can’t comment but I would expect most of the MCD stuff would be on regional basis in racing clubs if you have any questions regarding MCD you can of course ask here but I don’t race so won’t be able to help with racing specific questions you may check your nearest large scale racing club and ask where people usually discuss everything around their cars
  3. Looks more like FIY (fix it yourself) edition 🤔
  4. 30%? where did you get those figures? I don't know how about the new 1717 but old 1717 was rated with 120A max at 25.2 that's 3 kw from such large can compared to those 4082 or 4092 ?
  5. X-team 4082 or 4092... I’ve been running them in my 1/8 scale and wouldn’t choose anything else, in typical basher there is no point of spending crazy money for expensive motors especially if they aren’t any better than these two considering we are talking about 3.5 to 4.2 kw on 5-6kg rig, I remember running 4082 on 5S in my SSTe and it was crazy, for 60 dola landed not bad at all...
  6. anyone know the thread diameter of the Mini 8IGHT rod ends? LOSB1891, or at least those from current Mini-T range? LOS216002, need to know if it's M3 or M4 and most probably also the ball diameter if possible

    thanks a million...

  7. I'm not on FB so not sure how spread is this info over the social media but came across these highly detailed models made out of paper, this one is from Michal Traj (also on FB) , few examples below...

unbelievable what you can do with paper :o

crazy detailed, first I thought these are real cars, it’s made based on real models he found lost in the fields when he was travelling around the country

  8. Nothing to my RC cars coz postie's hiding again but was testing my printer so decided to print something small for my daughter
  9. been working on it over the weekend, upgraded bowden, nickle platted copper nozzle, covered heatsink with thick alu foil to prevent fan blowing directly on the heat block, installed dual drive extruder.... ... and calibrated it all, below some results, 0.2mm layer height, 60mm/s speed, now printing new fan duct to fix the overhang and than new spool holder new 12V fans will follow with tl smoother's and couple of others things...
  10. paid Fedex priority service and guess what? I’m starting to be alergic to Covid 19 excuses 🤬
  11. that’s too much for that motor, if you wanna higher speed gear it up, I assume we are talking about 1/8 scale right? motor has enough power so shouldn’t be an issue
  12. I had pretty good experience with third party chargers so shouldn’t be an issue, but had bad experience with knockoff batteries when I had my last hero 5, things might change since
  13. same bundle as yours but with extra dual charger and battery minus media mod, I got it delivered within 3 days from NL so not that bad but sure you can get it faster if you buy locally
  14. bought one over the Christmas directly from Gopro with similar package, got pretty good discount at that time so couldn't resist 🙂 , it's really good little cam 👍
  15. For anyone interested, I'll keep adding my findings and experience with this new (to me) tech and my journey with Flsun QQ-S I bought as my first 3D printer My planned mods and what's gonna be changed over time: - flimsy feet - noisy 24V fans - titan extruder to BMG - cheap aluminium heat block - cheap heat break - hotend covered metal holder - stepper motor smoothing - nozzle air blowers - cheap brass nozzle - stepper motor heatsink - heat block sock to prevent filament sticking to it heat block and heat brake will be delivered today so will start working on those within tomorrow, also second printer arrived so will start building the workhorse to be able to continue working on printed parts for precision version, once all done will start working on workhorse to be transformed into high speed version (volcano setup) hopefully others could add their experience and mods
  16. some hop up parts for my next project
  17. Banggood extending delivery time protection :shockingscary: , I got one order stuck in transit for over 60 days now and can't do anything about it 🤦‍♂️

Due to the unpredictable effects of COVID-19 on logistics and transportation, we are extending the guaranteed shipping time of orders placed after 2020.2.20 by 15-30 additional days. The extension will vary based on the order's destination, shipping method, and any lockdown/logistics restriction. Thank you for your understanding

yeah will see how it's progressing, ordered it elsewhere weeks ago so in no rush to get it or get a refund but this is easy way of how to push for longer deliveries

More like; Due to the unpredictable surge in orders, and shortage in workers, we are having problems getting anyone to do anything, and so you cant have your stuff until someone can be arsed to pack it lol. Ive had a lot of stuff recently take ages, however my bodyshell from grafil took less than two weeks.

I got another 2 orders from different Chinese shop on the way which would be normaly already here so it seems there is some delay but over 60 days? I would consider it lost but lets wait another few weeks

  18. I bough mine from Ali, at that time for 35$ each, now even cheaper if you are not in rush https://m.aliexpress.com/item/32716957112.html?spm=a2g0n.seo-amp-detail.productBottomBar.viewDetails&_gl=1*11pihzl*_ga*eHRPXzNwTnQyNnp2cWpMczdEOC00aGotWTdnN1hGeXk2UXI5VGRZM2xuTXVBRTVhV05LaDkyUXpYQnpSQUNkaA..
  19. I’m mainly using JX servos for some time now and never had any problems with it so trying to stick to that brand, Hitec is usually top quality but this one is bit shy on power so maybe something bigger? yeah, that’s one of the reasons I’m not running petrol, too much heat besides noise and I don’t like cutting holes into the shell
  20. Looks really great 👍, re servo I’ll be running JX PDI-HV2060MG, I bought 2 of them in case one isn’t enough (should be) re outerwears for your filterI’m bit affraid I won’t be able to help, did you sorted out rear axle toe?
  21. Yeah I plan to modify this one as well
  22. yup, Flsun QQ-S Pro, you ended up with standard CoreXY?
  23. not directly RC related but someone's gonna be printing soon
