You need to find some of the little throttle linkage parts used on most 1/8 buggies. Those are the orange bits on the picture. Then you use a normal servo horn, but drill it out to take a 3mm bolt through the whole lot. You also need a couple of collets and springs.

Some thing like this gets you most of what you need:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Dynamite-Pro-Tune-Nitro-Throttle-Brake-Linkage-Set-/360571895281?pt=UK_ToysGames_RadioControlled_JN&hash=item53f3c27df1

I also used some 2mm stainless rod from E-bay to make the throttle rod as I didn;t want to ruin any of the stock parts I was taking off! You re-use the brake rod.

You need to make a new rod for the throttle at the very least. You can re-use the brake rod if you want.

I used 2mm plain stainless rod to make the throttle linkage...it's the right size to fit through the standard size collet and fits through the links. If you can't cut a thread on the end...you can use another link piece and another collet to fix it at the carb end.
