matt.c
Hi, I have had this idea for over a year now. I really fancied a 2wd nitro short course truck. At the time there wasn't many on the market so i decided to build one. I had already got a firestorm 10T as a donor and noticed the flux blitz shared many parts and dimensions. So i put pen to paper and decided that i need to make the firestorm chassis 40mm longer to fit the blitz shell. Extending the oem chassis wasn't a option so found a sheet of 2.5mm alloy and got to work. This gives an idea to others to have a go. Please note the chassis is still in its raw state and will finish and paint it when im happy everything fits. Got about 80% of the chassis done now. Just need to do the body mounts and sort out some bumpers. Will keep updating this thread as i finish the project. matt.c
If it is too light on the front end i will change the location of the hump pack to the front or increase the fuel tank size and move it forward.

matt.c
Update time.... Now have finnished the pre build and am happy that everything will fit. Today i painted the chassis plates and have started the final rebuild. As you can see im getting there now but still have to rebuild the rear shocks and the rear toe arms (kept falling apart)

Nitroholic
Really nice idea. All HPI did for the Blitz was extend the lecky chassis....and this is doing the same with the nitro. There was a Firestorm fitted with a .21 knocking around a while back. Might make things interesting. I reckon this should go well . Wonder if HPI will release one
