Washed and polished the Civic today.

(Almost ...) still looks like new and is over 7 years old !!

My first car was a 7 years old - at the time - Marina 1.8 - it was a shed!!

Quality has certainly changed over the years!!

Entitled to your opinion as everyone else - no worries.

Loving it actually - space, style, reliability, practicality.

Load space is huge - moved house using it - no van required - including beds!!

Choice was:

Volvo V30 - not enough internal space.

BMW 1- Series - looks ugg, not enough space.

Golf - great car, but 'everyone has one'.

previous Astra - mmhh!! Average - didn't like the interior, and same price.

previous Focus - good chassis - interior not nice.

Vectra - looks old now. Better car than given credit for.

Mondeo - just that bit too big.

BMW 3- Series - newer engine just coming out - wanted diesel - more power, more economy - just out of range.

Spaceship Civic - concept went straight to production - just so different at the time. Interior excellent. Instruments great. Ride not so. Rear visibility - get used to it. Diesel clutch made of chocolate if engine breathed on .... no comment!!  :whistling:   Mine's sorted!!

500 notes??????????????

You got a proper bargain there mate.

Ye haha. It Was a little old lady, saw it in the paper by accident and thought yep im having that. Couldnt go wrong tbf.

I put some semi slicks on it from demon tweeks and when its empty is pretty nippy (125bhp), ive had it doing over 125mph but if you drive it properly can do 100mile on

The mk1 van is an australian import, we think its been an aussie postal van! Someone has had a go at putting bubble arches and a roll cage in and theyve done a bad job so we are stripping it and putting it back to standard, it came with a nice 1600 xflow which should be nippy.

I'm going to ford fair at silverstone this year in the puma, its quite a drive for me so i usually dont go but this year i am

Yeh looks to have been one sounded like a butcher had it last lol sweet on the x flow I had a cage buggy with one fitted reliable old lump. Worth more standard a good market for collectors or people wanting old skool advertising vans . Good to see its in the right hands. May see the puma there if I get chance to go aswell . keep pics posting as you go on the cars & van ,
