The question mark was a typo, sorry. I take it the car is brand new and intended for occasional use?

And there's nothing wrong with that of course, they're very expensive little machines.

Mine are quite the worse for wear after the last couple of weeks.

No need to apologise

The Hotshot is new, the Bigwig is 2 runs old but that's over some months, I don't get out much

And you're right, they are expensive when things go wrong

Today I fitted a Sport Tuned motor to the Novafox.

The motor wires for the Novafox are much longer than stock wires so had to make my own up and solder them to the Sport Tuned.

  • Turnigy motor wire.
  • Tamiya bullet connectors

Then it started raining :(

Very nice and tidy work!

Is the sport tuned motor much different from the standard silver can?

I bought my car secondhand and the seller said it had a sport tuned motor in it. I replaced it with a dirt tuned motor and when it came out it looked pretty standard to me :-/ I fitted it to my Lunchbox and it was an improvement.

A mystery

The number of turns with the sport tuned is debatable, some say it is 23 turn, others 27 turns but this is dependant on where it was distributed. Obviously the lower the turns = more speed. Even so, you will see a slight improvement over a stock silver can motor.

If the motor was silver then it's unlikely to be a sport tuned.

Nice steps-jumping - hope the bodies weren't too scarred!!
Liked the slo-mo's.
Looks like you enjoyed yourselves!

Al.

We had a blast and the bodies coped incredibly well, the boys Bigfoot still looks so good considering the punishment it's had. I've been through two bodies in the same time [emoji85] and yeah we are a bit partial to slo-mo [emoji23]
