WetSparks
Going by Ansmann prices I'd say yes, you got a good deal there. Mind you, I've just had delivered one of the cased Ansmann setup stations for 1/8th buggies. Got it for 85 quid off ebay and its brand spanking new, thats about half price I've also just had a look through the Ansmann catalog and all the ally standard parts are green, so I would guess the blue bits are from an early model, before they standardized on the green. Also sorted the front suspension on me Kryptonite, got hold of some Koyosho large bore hard springs. These are a lot shorter than the Amsmann springs and not quite as big a bore, but they sit nicely against the shock body where the body has the flats in it. From there the length is just right to fit inside the outer spring, so effectively I have dual spring suspension, works just great. I was out at a bash this last weekend and on rough and bumpy grass the ride hight and damping were spot on. Mind you, I'm now going up to 4s Lipos to get a bit more speed out of it. scotty1986
for what you paid mate its a very good deal imo, although as stated before you almost have a roller if it was me id buy the rest of the parts and get it up and running have one set up for on road and one for offroad even if you cant afford the engine for it yet u could just swap your engine between chassis its only a 2 min job
