Based on Murfdogg Racing's successful Demon Gearbox Platform, the Demon X Sprint Car represents the next step in high-bite foam tire sprint car racing.  The Demon X features a 2.5mm carbon fiber, engineered flex, dedicated direct-drive chassis that gives the Demon X an almost unfair advantage in high-traction wet clay, asphalt, and carpet tracks.  Our most "complete" Sprint Car offering to date, the Demon X includes a "wide cage" with our newly designed machined side panels, hood, tail tank, lightweight 6x6" wing and our "pretzel" front bumper system! 

 

Note: Requires assembly and painting of the included clear body and wing.  This kit does not include electronics and will require a servo, electronic speed controller, motor, battery, radio, tires, wheels and assembly tools.

Nice graphics on weird-looking car.

Graphics so strong, don't even see the extra details, like the exhaust!

Yeah I didn't notice the exhaust lol. I did but thought it was more cage. Probably paint it silver easily tho. 

 

I thought this class would be popular mayb the easiest set up of all. village hall with circle laid out.  

 

Ide love to try the real thing I think Birmingham race wheels would be perfect for them. My step dad raced there stock cars in a 2.2 pinto cortina mk5. He was usually top 3.

They do v8 sprint cars in the U.K. Now too. American V8 motors with around 500bhp!!! That would be great fun

There are lots of these rather sweet oval sprint car designs over in the US - 4wd as well as 2wd. They've simply never caught on here - possibly because they are very very specific dirt oval machines that really don't work anywhere else. 

What puzzles me though is that cycle speedway is a thing, and there are tracks all over the place that would be just the right size for racing this sort of thing. Make some shells to look more like UK style stock or banger racers and it would look just like the real thing. Yes I know Mardave make RC Stock cars but they are tarmac racers not dirt cars.
