I'll buy anything, Don't even think about parts support, FTX and Absima will stick there name on most of the good Chinese stuff anyway, I'm pretty much only 1/8 and most of them are now pretty much interchangeable with each other, Diff gears, Arms, Your always find something that will fit. It's got to the point were you can pick up stuff second hand nice and cheap these days anyway, I'll buy something and then just keep an eye out for a cheap rolling chassis or something for parts, I still have my BSR Berserker, HPI diff internals are the same, The only thing that would be harder to source would be the lower front arms but I have one spare set so covered at the moment, And if it gets to hard I'll just shelf it and move on. Not really worth selling stuff, You could sell a half decent buggy roller for say 80-90 quid maybe, But just the shocks could be worth 50, So i'll hold on to stuff, That £90 roller is never really gonna be worth any less than 90 quid if I sell it today or in 10 years time, It's as good as bottomed out price wise.

I remember when I first got into nitro all them years ago and they used to say that beginners should keep to 15%, Sometimes even 10%, As the higher oil content helped the engine if you had a bad tune, Problem was you had such a small nitro content that getting any sort of good tune was a ball ache, 25% forever more.

Been out the loop for a good while, But I'm a bit opposite and tend to get back into it when winter rolls in, I like to spend the days in the shed just messing with them. So I've been off this week and so decided to sort the shed out and do a few bits, Started by building another desk that was higher and could hold the 50" plasma, Nothing better than pottering with the cars and doing a boxset at the same time. Dropped a Losi 427 engine in the CRT, It did come with an SH 28 that is the same engine but the OWB was slipping which is why the previous owner cut out the flywheel hole so they could use a bump box, Only cost 120 quid and I don't think it ever moved from new, Also made some alloy chassis braces. As they had already mutilated the chassis I decided to do a much better job of doing a slot for the rotostart so I could use standard engine mounts so I could use the rotostart or bump box. My other CRT had a twin steering servo setup that I did, But they just pulled too much power, The ESC had a 6v 5A BEC but that wasn't enough, So I tried a separate external 6v 5A BEC that I had but still no good,So went back to single setup, But in place of the other servo I dropped in a Hyper 7 shock which helps with the play and takes some strain off the servo.

Noticed there is a hell of a lot of cross contamination going on these days, I thought HPI, But saw that them front upper arms are very V1 Thunder Tiger S2, Same as the shocks, But other stuff is not. This is a Reely 1/8 Buggy And this is the SWORKs s350 front end they seem to have nicked.

You need one of them cell checkers if your charger doesn't have a cell display, It's possible one of the 4 cells is duff.

Jees, Been ages since I was last here. How long dose in run from a full charge before going into what sounds like LVC. I ask because I would assume the Spectrum is based on the Hobbywing WP-SC8 Or the Max10 Which I think are still the same ESC in different clothing, But the SC8 had a problem with the LVC being well off when set to auto detection, As in a 4s it would shut down when the pack was only at about half depletion, Not had mine for a while but off the top of my head I think I had to set it at 2.8v/cell to get full use from the pack and it would slow at about 3.0v. The firmware may have been sorted since I had mine, But you could run it at 2.8v, See if it runs longer and then just stop and keep checking the voltage, Get one of These if you don't already.

It's pretty confusing really, A good few shops stock this and the PUG Buggy from Thunder Tiger, But for some reason, Don't stock anything else. This would still sell like hot cakes if you could get them, Especially at the price Thunder Tiger would sell it.

I put one of These in my starter box. Also have a couple with the display, Both work great for about 4 quid. Now glow plug just plugs into the front.

Can't agree, Politicians are allowed of the hook way to easy these days by most broadcasters. You say it's a simplistic answer to a complicated question, Everything we are going through at the moment is based on, And supported by numbers, Your region go's into lockdown because it has gone above a certain number, The UK is at the top of the covid death chart because of a number, The transmission rate is based on a number, Government wants a 5 week gap so they can follow the numbers. I would assume that if the rate starts to go's back up they have a number, And they will be quick enough to use there extended 6 month emergency powers to put us back into lock down, So if Boris is happy to stand at that podium while Witty & Valance have there hands operating he's mouth telling us that the number has gone up to such and such and we have to lock down, It's not much to ask that they say if the number comes down to such and such we will open up. You also say follow the science, Problem is, Boris appears to only be following the science that comes out of Witty & Valance mouth, And there is no such thing as half empty or half full with them two, It's just bone dry, The harbingers of doom and gloom them two. And don't even get me started on the Peoples Republic of Britain covid passport.
