  1. https://wheelspinmodels.co.uk/i/180421 Something like this is pretty low profile, got a picture of the wheels on the car? with and without the nut? Can use these along with some locktight and they might hold depending on how much shaft you have to play with. Ive had a similar experience with the outlaw axles and fitting other wheels its been a nightmare. I just want some beadlocks that fit, im still fighting the battle.
  2. Max 10 but what KV motor? This is what matters more. My lads truck thats much bigger than a carnage has a diffrent hobbywing motor 3656 4200kv but uses the max10 on 2s lipos and we drive for hours and hours non stop even last summer when it was like 38c its never cutoff due to thermals, however this motor does not have a themal sensor cable. The way he pelts his truck about you would think the esc would cut out, the fan wasnt even connected once as i forgot to reconnect it after programming, thought id cooked it was stinking hot but it still keeps going. Might be motor thermal cutout and if so, gear down or having a good motor combo wont be worth it if your having to cut runs short due to it protecting itself. Have you spoken to hobbywing about it, something must be off, this shouldnt happen imo.
  3. Hello Lee. I think it might be the neutral / incorrect throttle endpoints, maybe you can reset these up and it will work? When you turn on the esc, whilst holding the set button, it should flash at you, this is the end point setup process. Hold full throttle, press set, go full reverse, press set. Release the throttle completely. Press set. Should beep Turn the system on and off again. Does it work? A programmer will also be able to a reset, usb one is the best bang for your buck imo.
  4. Yes probably i have a few max systems, are you using max 10 or max 10 stc? That a 3s battery yeah? You on a 4000kv motor or lowerkv? maybe you are hitting the thermals then, is it geared pretty high, or maybe the gear mesh it too tight, the only time i have ever had hobbywing shut off is stalling it 3 times on hills. Maybe get some footage if it keeps happening? Next time it cut out look at the leds, whats flashing?
  5. Wew big list of odd and bobs today. Rebuild the banzai shocks, added in shock limiters and setup rake, prepping for its first 4s blast! The lad started fixing the trx4 front snapped axle housing, stripped out and dissembled the axle for me 😅 Soldiered up the max6 for the limitless gave it a little blast on 6s haha shes got some power now! Fixed the outlaw, threw out the stock transmission, then took it out with the savage xs for some light jumping. Was a good day!
  6. Ive never had a hobbywing setup cutout due to thermal overload of the esc or motor, i also didnt have the fan running on the esc and it was cooking... I think the shutoff would be the stalling cutoff or your punch is set higher than the batteries can discharge.
  7. You will get some big speed boosts from messing with gearing, sad to see this get shelved, but not for everyone. Good attempt none the less a new personal best is a new pb regardless of the speed. I say keep at it but thats just me, do what makes you happy 👍
  8. Did it have a 4000kv brushless motor, the lad took this out today for a first real run. 2s 3200 lipo lasted about 10 min, then moved to a 7000mha that lasted 20-30 min. So 2 packs through the truck, running on long grass, hard sand and roads. The motor got to hot to touch, Im very particular about my motors and if they get to hot to touch im not happy. This is supposed to run 3s for 65mph... thats with the high speed gearing the motor is cooking on 2s stock gearing, 3s high speed with no cooling would melt something, has any one had failures with these if so was it the drive cups before the motor died? The truck handels very nicely, it decently quick on 2s, if we had be running on 3s, i think we would have already cooked the motor. No room for a fan. Motor can size is limited unless you want to take a big chunck out the chassis, personally i think a lower kv motor on the same gearing. Would be spot on, the high kv motor doesnt have the guts to make it wheely, although for 1/14th it not a light rig.
  9. Amazing, fastest lunch delivery on wheels! Thank you @PraetoR for the grins 😁
  10. Agreed, just want you to be with your family, drive safe!
  11. Hes got paypal issues, dm him or me, id be happy to pass on his details whilst he gets his mind together rather than him spend the time on the forums answering dms. Hope the little bit helps Lee, stay strong!
  12. I was also thinking the same, if 8 of us chip in 10£ you wont have to sell your car, let us know how we can be of help. Thoughts are with you and your family during this time.
  13. Like a glove! nice work, what shell have you choosen?
  14. All said with love and fun, see you back here hopefully not in too short of a time, I look forward to the days when your telling people to go brushless 😁💞
  15. Thats mental for that size car, whats that to scale 1000mph? Amazing going! I think im hitting the limit of what the body shell will allow, vs a serpent speedrunning shell im driving a square block through the air, trying to figure out resistanced / drag to see how much more power im going to be needing to get the most of it. Might have to de banzai the car and put a better streamlined body on it made for speed. The final parts of the puzzle arrived, now have all the 4s batteries charged, healthy and ready to break some parts, going to strip the car before this tho, put in a fresh slipper shaft that i know isnt bent, refresh all the bearings and re oil the diffs. Been given craking information about rake setup from @GMballistic thank you sir! So will also be doing a full suspension resetup that is still stock, just the right time with the new batteries the cars much heavier, i feel like its going to be a tough climb to a ton. Maybe the car will make it easy on me. Time will tell. 30mm foams didnt fit front or back, even with wider wheel hexes they bind on the upper and steering arms, how sad more things to send back 😞 Big 👍 to the team at Wheelspin they have been really good to me with this project sorting the battery issues, and taking back things that havent fit, great customer service from them as usual. Backup big lipo fits like a glove, need to fabricate a new battery brace system, stay tuned for that.
  16. Was a lucky boy today two presents arrived, Thanks to @Krazeland for the lipo, just squeazes in. 1st run on 4s I wonder whats going to break. 😁
  17. farewell motor, you had a short but fun life, theres nothing wrong with your outlaw they eat motors due to poor design, ergo be careful what you choose to put into it, invest well and wisely and you will be very happy for a long time... cough hobbywing 😉
  18. your going through motors like the clappers, something might be up, when you have the car apart check nothing is binding. also are you getting the beep boop, did you test the motor in the other car? glad you got your money back on the goolrc, doesnt seem to happen often sadly.
  19. Looks bad ass! I do like the look of the felony. I also joined the club a lil while ago but not had much chance to run it mainly due to the horrible wobbly shafts, sorched ones in the mail. And lack of propper power system. Had it to 65mph crashed it into a cobblestone seam in a carpark at 35mph Tore off half the front wing a bit, few passes under the gas stove and clamped between some wood, flat as a pancake good as new. Impressed how it ate its face, designed to fail well, luckly no other damage could have gone much worse as flew into the air a good few foot, wish i had got footage but alas the good moments are always missed.
  20. That is the one sir. https://wheelspinmodels.co.uk/i/264681/
  21. I have one of these, you would be best getting the usb programmer imo, it works with all the escs, and your pc, you also get firmware updates and a nice ui to play with the masses of settings that comes with the xerun, worth the money as you have already invested into the esc.
  22. wow she gooes! hope you got a big stack of spares 😉 what motor/esc and battery power you running? you vs the man she tells you not to worry about, max 6 is mahousive! would tear the poor hyper 7 to shreds.
  23. Max 6 combo for the arrma, along with highest speed running gears, tiny 29t spur is vs the 34t pinion, wewie its going to goooo. Along with fixs for the trx4, outlaw and banzai fomies for 100+
