  1. It's not an Exotek one but I had this same motor mount on my old mini 8ight truggy ~ seller is based in Greece. Worth seeing if he posts to your country. 2. That wasn't Group B FYI, ...Group B was banned/stopped in the late 1980's after some horrendous crashes and the deaths of drivers/co-drivers AFAIK. Great pictures @.AJ. . Wish I could have witnessed both those drivers in real life. Spent many an hour watching rallying throughout my childhood as I loved motorsports and those two were some greats to watch. McRae in particular was the reason as soon as I could I bought a 1996 classic shape WRX Impreza as it was a dream to own that car (turned into a nightmare in the end but that's another story ).
  3. Very nice collection. Welcome aboard.
  4. Welcome aboard. Your son looks ready to gun that FTX straight off the table.
  5. It's 1/7th scale according to Modelsport UK who sell them and Traxxas AFAIK who build them. https://www.modelsport.co.uk/product/traxxas-x-maxx-4wd-brushless-rtr-8s-monster-truck-orange-x--439125
  6. Pretty sure X-Maxx is classed as a 1/7th scale.
  7. Hello all, I usually prefer to write out a nice advert for the forum but honestly too much on to do that sorry so I'll just leave a brief description & the eBay links. All on auctions rather than BIN. Thank you.
  8. I did the same thing with two Modelsport UK vouchers I got for Christmas from my brother and stocked up on some less interesting RC things I needed like heat shrink, cable ties, aerial tubes etc but I did buy one none essential thing..... An RC Skinz chassis protector for my Losi Tenacity DB Pro. 😁 😉
  9. Bought another "Skinz" chassis protector from Modelsport UK this week as they have a lot more variations now as well as ones for different RC models. See here: https://www.modelsport.co.uk/search/rc-skinz?&sort=Relevance&search=skinz This time I bought one for my Losi Tenacity DP Pro.
  10. That truck looks awesome @BlackSeaRC. If you have a look some of the Losi trucks done with "Vitavon" parts they're pretty close to that, ...costs a lot to do that though and generally ruins the way the trucks drive because of all the added weight.
  11. No offence but I think that is a little too fussy. 😉 Seriously though if that's what you want then maybe you are better off looking at crawler kits as they do seem to value details like that more than trucks that are meant more to be driven harder/faster to be enjoyed. If Arrma, Losi, Traxxas etc etc did add more realistic parts like light lenses then they'd probably get broken within the first few minutes of use. If you did go for a crawler type kit you could always modify it to be more of a basher truck I guess, ...you know different gears, motor etc.
  12. @ChewieMcBacca welcome aboard. As for places to run car park's are good providing you have space to run without risk of hitting parked cars or curbs but can get boring. You could bring cones to lay out a little course and if you want to try some jumps you can buy plastic ramps. Like this: https://www.skatehut.co.uk/rampage-mini-launch-ramp.htm?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIlMj7xY2k_AIVib7tCh1xzgDuEAQYBCABEgJB8vD_BwE Large open parks and fields are also good as well as woodland walks etc. Have a look if any mountain bike runs are local to you as often they can be good for RC.
  13. Been messing with my "new to me" Tenacity DB Pro today. Pretty pleased with it so far as it's already got a lot of mods done to it and I just did a battery strap mod today so that I can fit a bigger battery. Waiting on some stickers now to brighten it up a bit.
