  1. So I’m exploring whether or not it’s possible to get a FlySky Receiver that would enable my AVC; e.g. can I use an AVC receiver with my FlySky NB4? Does anyone know? Or, is it perhaps just not an option.
  2. Looking good. Yeah, servo upgrade on mine made significant improvement.
  3. This is the grub screw in question; but at the rear. It was the front that disappeared. i'd suggest remove and loctite both of them.
  4. Diff rebuilt and car put back together; test run today Finally got the Noble NB4 all setup New wheels and tyres
  5. Something like this. I've just stuck it down to the chassis for now. Would just need to find one the right size. Not fussed about having a Losi one.
  6. That was helpful thanks. Yeah, I’ll investigate power control options later. Steering done and throttle trimmed. All really helpful tips m4, thank you. Now just need to figure out best place to mount the receiver. The old one was mounted on the side of the servo, which didn’t seem ideal.
  7. So calibration is done! Yes, i believe the steering end points were next. Was just gonna go find a YT video on that. Once I’ve done that, i guess I’m wondering about the trim controls and things like % power and AVC etc and some of the other things the Spektrum controller does.
  8. Once I’ve calibrated, I assume I then need to setup up the controller and all the buttons, though kind of hoping they all magically work.
  9. We have connection and bind, i just need to calibrate now. Returning to the manual. (But i have throttle and steering - wow, steering so much more responsive with this controller)
  10. You are absolutely spot on. The issue was polarity. Was just viewing a YT video too and zoomed in and yes, i need to switch cables around. Right, not to try that all again and see if it works; at least i have power to the receiver now. Thanks m4.
  11. I’ll go triple check my connections; but pretty certain i am doing it right. Receiver might be duff as you say.
  12. Yeah, no light on the receiver. I think the ESC needs some input. Was just reading this. What do you think?
  13. Yes, definitely. Same way round as the current receiver. Black wire to the bottom. I'm assuming the issue relates to the Spektrum Firma ESC. The ESC has a flashing red light when I turn it on, almost like it's in safety mode because it does not recognise the receiver.
