  1. Brushed version, approx 2 years old 1/10th scale 4wd, ready to run. Great condition, all original spec (no power or electronic upgrades) Still on original tyres - rears are fine, fronts are pretty worn. I’ve left them for the next owner to chose whatever tyres they prefer. Comes with: - Etronix AC/DC peak charger - 1 x original 1800 NiMH battery - 2 x 5000 Tornado NiMH batteries - standard FTX transmitter - various spare parts (wishbones, shock tower, chassis front) - original instructions and parts diagram / listing Just had a new motor fitted (standard FTX 550). Awesome buggy for someone, either for keeping in its current original spec or as a base for an upgrade project. Total cost new of approx £230. Looking for £120.
  2. Hey folks. The Talon tyres that came with our Rustler VXL 4x4 seemed pretty good but I thought I’d give a set of Anacondas a try given we use it a fair amount on the road outside our house. Initial impressions - they’re pretty rubbish. The compound is a bit hard and severely lacking grip. At least we now have a second set of wheels…… Will prob just buy another set of Talons when the originals wear out. But what else have you tried for use on a mix of different terrains? Thanks!
  3. Looking at photos of the Vantage V2, it looks like they’ve added a little cover. I haven’t been able to identify it as a spare part but will keep trying. Must be able to buy it somewhere.
  4. Interesting. But then from memory I think the top’s sealed, so not sure how stones would get in from that side.
  5. Guys, is there a part we can buy to cover the gap in the chassis that leaves the spur exposed? Pic below. I think the Vantage V2 has this sorted. I posted something about this in the general forum but I’m guessing this might be the place for it. Thanks!! Gordon
  6. Hi folks Just getting back into RC after years away. My son has V1 of the Vantage. Seems a decent piece of kit with one main niggle - the exposed spur on the bottom of the chassis. Anyone know why FTX designed it this way?? Seems rather obvious that stones will ruin the spur….. I’m about to order another. Looks to me like the new Vantage has a part covering this up - a little patch of plastic which screws onto the chassis. Can this be bought as an add-on? Can’t see it in any spares lists… The chassis gap I’m referring to: Ps. Also just bought a Traxxas Rustler VXL. Beast of a thing!!
