  1. @Lone-wolfBeen over to Shipley Glen a few times, pretty good for the crawlers πŸ‘
  2. Here's a quick video of it going down part of my crawler course. Yes, I've already scratched it.
  3. Works fine for me and it's free.
  4. I've always really liked hard bodies but I've always been more performance over looks with my crawlers. I got a wrangler hard body about a year ago and planned to do it in the winter. After building and fitting it to one of my scx10's, I loved it. It obviously effects the centre of gravity but I think it's well worth it. So one thing leads to another and now I've got about five hard body builds on the go. Here's one... This one is the leftover chassis from my scx10 ii. Incredibly noisy scx10ii kit gearbox (smooth as you like just noisy). Fusion Pro motor/esc, desert lizard 90mm internal sprung shocks. Cranked stainless links, four link with ams. I've done some of the other builds with a chassis mounted servo for the scale look, I just don't like them. Injora jeep cherokee 313mm body, injora cherokee front bumper, painted Tamiya drab olive. Magnets on the front and you can kinda use the stock mounts supplied with the body as a hinge. I've given this a little test, drives pretty good. Next is adjustable shock towers on the rear to adjust the height, inner arches on the front need fitting, and fit the moulded lexan interior supplied with the kit.
  5. I like how the outlaw lifts a front wheel, part of the character of the truck. Trophy trucks do it and it just looks cool. But I do get how some fit the anti roll bars. When changing the settings with the programming card are you OK-ING it?
  6. Took out my scx10. It's a good few years old now, bought it new. Was the trail honcho, now has a proline cliffhanger. Still going strong and fun to drive.
  7. @Lone-wolfThat little charger is good piece of kit πŸ‘
  8. She did good. Main thing is she had fun.
  9. Let the missus have a go.... Didn't fancy taking out one of the hard body trucks. So I put a1080 esc in the injora scx10 ii copy. It's got an Axial Jeep cherokee lexan body. But completely stock, got it cheap off ebay a good few years ago. It's a really light rig and reasonably durable.
  10. @Lone-wolf Cracking truckπŸ‘ Keep hold of that oneπŸ‘
  11. Done a few bits to my Trx4 cherokee hard body build. Fitted roof rack, rock sliders, door handles, mirrors, bonnet vents and longer rear shaft for the wheel base increase . Trying to make my mind up about which wheels and tyres to use.
  12. Chopped off the traxxas battery connector on my Trx4 F150 Should of probably listened to @Lone-wolfand made an adapter before I tested it. Just a quick video works fine, really nice looking truck
  13. @Lone-wolf I've changed the connectors on two of those esc's to xt60 with no issues.
  14. Thanks mate πŸ‘. I do like the chevy k10 but the Ford looks so good, wheels look way better. The brown version looks good I couldn't make my mind up initially. I'll get that traxxas plug chopped off and give it a run.
  15. Will do. I might get chance later. It's a compact, well made looking esc. But it's how it performs is the important thing.
  16. Trx4 Ford F150 high trail. I was thinking of getting the k10 but the Ford is very good looking, well I think so.
  17. This arrived last week. I still haven't tried it out yet, been busy with 1/10 crawlers. 3s capable esc for brushed motors. Comes with various connectors, traxxas battery connector, scx24 connector and one for the balance connector on a battery. I was going to fit to my tarantula chassis truck, but I think I'll try it in the wrangler with the stock gearing. Should be fairly amusing to drive as a trail truck.
  18. A picture I got a few weeks ago @Stormbringer @Lone-wolf A bit of a brutal picture, but nature can be. I'm hiding behind a wall trying to get a picture and she stared at me.
  19. Thanks mate πŸ‘. The female sparrowhawk is larger than the male and is capable of taking pigeons. I got some pictures recently. She stared right at the camera.
  20. @Lone-wolf A short video of the sparrowhawk. Really hard to spot, you know they've been, usually a pigeon in bits on the ground.
  21. Thanks mate, thought so. We get loads of different wildlife. I've been feeding the wildlife for a good few years now. Glad you like them πŸ‘. A sparrowhawk took out a pigeon a week or so ago, managed to get it on one of the cameras. Here's a video from this morning, quite a good close up of two roe deer.
