Please see picture. I know about ball links. They are not the type I'm asking about. I need one where a 3mm rod goes through the centre of the ball and is locked onto the rod with a grub screw.

Hi. I'm new to RC cars but have successfully converted a FTX Outlaw brushed to brushless using a Hobbywingvsensorless 3660 motor (3800kv I think) and 60 amp sensored esc. Using a new 5mm shaft 17t pinion and original 62t spur gear on 2s 4000mah lipo it's nice and fast but lifts a front wheel under high acceleration. I've put a front sway bar from a Vantage on which made little difference so need to work out a rear sway bar next. But the main problem is in programming the esc. I have the led programming card which seems to work but the settings don't always do anything. The esc does seem to remember the new settings but braking force doesn't work. I can't get the first trigger forward press to apply brakes. I have the esc set to forward brake reverse and have some drag braking set but cant get controlled braking. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

I have a FTX Outlaw brushed converted to brushless with a HW Quicrun 3660 motor 3800kv 5mm shaft and BL60 esc. 2 cell 4000mah lipo. Goes very fast probably overpowered even with 17t pinion. Starting with a bare chassis such as Arma Big Rock are any of my bits going to be useable?

How easy is it to build the Arrma Big Rock 1/10 starting with a chassis and electronics from another brushless 1/10?

Thanks for your feedback. Ok but I can't find anywhere 17t 0.6mod 5mm bore pinions in the UK. Any ideas?

Hi Can someone please tell me what pitch pinion I need for the FTX Outlaw? I'm putting in a 3660 bl motor. Have a hardened spur 62t gear. Motor shaft is 5mm. I can go 23t with new mount or stick with 17t steel pinion but what pitch? I think the original brass pinion is either .6 or .8 mod?
