  1. @Gaz! That's brilliant mate, great job๐Ÿ‘
  2. Nearly finished the Injora IR40 truck. A bit of soldering and fit the driveshafts. I've used a injora defender carbon chassis, bronco / defender length links front and rear with a few mil of spacing. I'm going to get longer rears, they'll fit no problems. Looks pretty good. Need to solder a Traxxas Trx4m motor connector back on the motor to connect it to the injora esc.
  3. Nearly finished the Injora IR40 truck. Looks pretty cool with the big 70mm tyres.
  4. Fitted some brass parts to one of the trx4s. Portal weights and diff covers. Both injora and fit perfectly.
  5. You may need to try a smaller pinion gear. Sounds like the esc is drawing to many amps. Volt up, gear down ๐Ÿ‘.
  6. Removing the chrome from the bumpers, mirrors, grill and roll bar on my Trx4. I did this on my Trx4m and it worked great. It's looking like some parts are black, so that's good and the rest will be getting painted black.
  7. Desert lizard 110mm shocks. I really like those shocks, got several sets. The 110mm are for trying out on my Trx4 high trail, gonna see what it looks like lowered on 1.9s. A set of injora steel deep dish wheels, Trx4 bumper posts and some black wheel nuts, 10 for about ยฃ2.50 ish, good value and good wheel nuts.
  8. @Lone-wolf it's another Trx4. It turned up in an ftx box.
  9. @Yrkoon Thanks mate๐Ÿ‘ I'm sure they won't have a problem with that.
  10. @Lone-wolfBeen over to Shipley Glen a few times, pretty good for the crawlers ๐Ÿ‘
  11. Here's a quick video of it going down part of my crawler course. Yes, I've already scratched it.
  12. Works fine for me and it's free.
  13. I've always really liked hard bodies but I've always been more performance over looks with my crawlers. I got a wrangler hard body about a year ago and planned to do it in the winter. After building and fitting it to one of my scx10's, I loved it. It obviously effects the centre of gravity but I think it's well worth it. So one thing leads to another and now I've got about five hard body builds on the go. Here's one... This one is the leftover chassis from my scx10 ii. Incredibly noisy scx10ii kit gearbox (smooth as you like just noisy). Fusion Pro motor/esc, desert lizard 90mm internal sprung shocks. Cranked stainless links, four link with ams. I've done some of the other builds with a chassis mounted servo for the scale look, I just don't like them. Injora jeep cherokee 313mm body, injora cherokee front bumper, painted Tamiya drab olive. Magnets on the front and you can kinda use the stock mounts supplied with the body as a hinge. I've given this a little test, drives pretty good. Next is adjustable shock towers on the rear to adjust the height, inner arches on the front need fitting, and fit the moulded lexan interior supplied with the kit.
  14. I like how the outlaw lifts a front wheel, part of the character of the truck. Trophy trucks do it and it just looks cool. But I do get how some fit the anti roll bars. When changing the settings with the programming card are you OK-ING it?
  15. Took out my scx10. It's a good few years old now, bought it new. Was the trail honcho, now has a proline cliffhanger. Still going strong and fun to drive.
  16. @Lone-wolfThat little charger is good piece of kit ๐Ÿ‘
  17. She did good. Main thing is she had fun.
  18. Let the missus have a go.... Didn't fancy taking out one of the hard body trucks. So I put a1080 esc in the injora scx10 ii copy. It's got an Axial Jeep cherokee lexan body. But completely stock, got it cheap off ebay a good few years ago. It's a really light rig and reasonably durable.
  19. @Lone-wolf Cracking truck๐Ÿ‘ Keep hold of that one๐Ÿ‘
  20. Done a few bits to my Trx4 cherokee hard body build. Fitted roof rack, rock sliders, door handles, mirrors, bonnet vents and longer rear shaft for the wheel base increase . Trying to make my mind up about which wheels and tyres to use.
