  1. Hello, like the look of this van, had it in mind for a while. How does it handle ? is the radio gear included Thanks
  2. Hello, sorry to go completely off RC topic, I need to find away of measuring distance (and possibly speed, for a powered wheelchair, even an app on ios, if it works on basher all the better, any help really appreciated

Lots of fitness apps, including the stock one included with all iPhones and iWatches will do what you want, measure speed and distance - even things like average speed, but it won't give you as much information as something like a SkyRC GNSS Performance Analyzer or SkyRC GNSS Speed Meter, things like acceleration, lap counter and so fourth.

If all you're interested in measuring is how fast a electric wheelchair will go, how far it will travel on a full charge, or how far it takes to get the powered wheelchair up to it's top speed, if you have an iPhone or iWatch - even an Android phone with it's built in fitness app or Android watch, the stock included fitness app will provide all that information and more.

Thank you very much for your answer, I have got a new chair, and it is Lithium powered, I am trying to see how far it will go with my RCs before I get stuck somewhere, Dealer says must discharge and recharge 5 - 6 times before I get peak

  3. Shame, can you do me a favour and let me know if you do Ta!
  4. did you ever start the thread? I've just got one - Thanks
  5. I fell in love with the body, I know everyone knocks it, but on watching a review on YouTube, showing chassis and running I thought I go for it, as I said used some Nectar points and got a good deal, I intend to use it as more of a trail truck, ran it down thee pavement, and gardens, it seems great, chassis is really good, rear suspension looks weird but really does work, got to put flat bed transfers on which look a right fiddling job, and the wheel centres supplied really lift the wheels and look of the Truck, sorry to go on it's the lock down 12 months is murderous 😉
  6. Now only £270, and it's a great truck so far, I laughed when as I turned steering the side lights flash - No not joking
  7. I managed to collect Nectar points and used them on Ebay and got the Texan for a good amount off it's a little cracker, love the idea of working turn lights and reversing lights, only problem I'm having is putting Flat bed transfers on due to Arthritis, just don't fancy taking all those screws out 😉
  8. Hello,  TRX-4 newbie question I've fitted the 8028, just  can I just fit 8025 the lightbar, if so where do I connect the cables, as it says connect one to the head light connector but I am not fitting the full set, sorry such a newbie question, any help appreciated Thanks

      TRAXXAS TRX-4 DEFENDER

i AM FITTING THE LIGHTING MODULE AND JUST THE ROOF STRIP LIGHT, THE INSTRUCTIONS ARE GREAT IF YOU ARE FITTING THE WHOLE LIGHT SYSTEM, BUT, IF YOU ARE JUST FITTING THE ROOF STRIP LIGHT

I CAN SEE YOU PLUG ONE OF THE 2 CABLES INTO THE LIGHT MODULE --- BUT WHAT DO I DO WITH THE OTHER WIRE FROM THE LIGHT BAR?

ANY HELP WOULD BE REALLY APPRECIATED

(SORRY JUST NOTICED i DONE IN CAPS SORRY)

From memory, I think the second wire goes into the front lights and the dimmer switch on the light bar also dimmed the front lights. You can probably leave it disconnected and out of the way.

Is it not  a feature  to allow you to brake, and as  safety measure, rather than going straight through from forward to reverse, with the possibility of damage to the drive train?

  10. Banners came this morning - look great in reality

    Thanks 😉

Heres jangs build for trail truck style.  It would involve a stampede chassis.

Theres some cool bodies that suit the slash 4x4 though and I think axial bodies just about fit too. But if you want a trail truck I'm sure cashing in the rally would get you a nice axial.  But an all in one rc nothing better than the slash platform you can swap and change around.

Thanks very much for help, when we were talking about the Traxxas Sport and the Axial FE 100 ford, could as you suggested set the Axial as a Trail car? 😉

and which would you buy -?

That truck 'the shape shifter looks great, but doubt I could build it, the tr4 sport and the Ford are exactly the same price - need reliability with wheelchair 😉

Really appreciate your help, in lockdown I'm stuck with mini ones around the room

  12. Hello, can anyone give me a bit of help - what is the Axial SCX10II 1955 Ford 100 like is it worth the money? mostly be used for trailing with some crawling - really love the body and set up, or is the Traxxas Sport better- Thanks
