  1. Price dropped to £130 for the ARTR, I'll also take offers on the electronics as separates.
  2. AK917 bought as a roller but selling as RTR or a roller. The car has been run only a handful of times. It is really quick and great fun, I just can't find the time/space to run it. It is all standard Carbon Fibre Roller and comes with the original box and stickers/manual etc. Even the awful 'gold plated' spur gear necklace, but I'll understand if you ask me not to include that! Electrics that it comes with... Savox 1256 servo DumboRC X4 transmitter and X6F receiver. Hobbywing 3200KV 3665 G3 motor (SD) Hobbywing Quicrun 120 ESC and a sensor wire that links the two (even though they are different ports). Runs XT90 connector The wiring is a mess because I removed the gyro and changed the RX/TX I have changed the pinion and spur gear to mod 1 gears so they are more robust. The gearing is really tall but the 'sensored' system gives really good levels of control. I have the original spur gear and a pinion if you want to convert it back. One hex screw has rounded off. It is on the chassis and connects to the centre drive shaft. Comes with an adjustable motor mount spare (plastic) wheels and all the extra pinions and spurs that you get with the roller as standard. £130 all in, including postage.
  3. Motor for sale I've put prices on but it's an odd Summer for the RC hobby so feel free to offer. I have always found people on this forum to be fair and honest. Spektrum Firma 2400kv 3-4s motor SPMXSM2100 with heatsink and fan. I think this is from a Kraton V2 4s. Also has the pinion on still. £50 posted Thanks.
  4. Hi, I'm not as experienced as many when it comes to selling on eBay (or here) but I have bought a few things. Here are my thoughts, apologies in advance that they are inconclusive! I would consider fees, it is possible that any gain from eBay could be taken out with selling fees. I don't know this to be true but it is worth doing the sums. I think you'd get more from dividing the sale up. Sell the car as a roller (it might appeal to someone wanting to do a brushless conversion). Then sell the engine and servos separately. I know it's more hassle but I think you will get a better deal. Hope that helps, John
  5. How's the build going? I know you have a lot on with other projects though, so it might be sitting in the background. I'm building a 3s HobbyWing powered version. I have it running but haven't done anything other than a bench test. I'm not into speed running either, really want it to be a street basher that I can hoon around. Looking forward to seeing the progress 👍
  6. I’ll take the esc, if it’s still available 👍🤞
  7. Great thanks you @rcmaniac Super helpful. I’ll look at the video and let you know how I get on 👍
  8. Hi, I am a buggy guy. I love 1/8th scale buggies and (at a push) truggies. The issue I have is our crap weather in the Winter and how it limits where I can take my buggies without wiping out half a day cleaning them (I have three kids, who all love to hook around too). I am considering an on-road car to power slide and drift. The Infraction and Felony look great but I'd like to explore alternatives, of which I might be unaware. I want something that is easy to power slide (I am not a talented driver!), high speeds are not a big concern. I can drop a 4s or even a 6s system into a roller if needed. I like the idea of a Hobao (I'm a Hyper fan) but they seem to have a shorter wheel base and I can only assume (from driving real cars) that they have less tolerance for slow reactions when drifting. So, are there any cars out there that you would recommend or should I just go for the obvious Arrmas? Thanks
  9. I inherited a set of Talons and have tried them out from time to time. During the Summer the grip did seem to be pretty good, I think they need to be warm to really add value. I also ran some FTX Carnage wheels and tyres, they were okay on grass and dirt, they are also cheap!
  10. Hi I don’t have any help for you but am in the same situation… Did you ever fix or resolve it? Thanks
  11. Amazing... and about half the price! Bonzer!
  12. Thank you! If anyone knows of another that does similar then let me know... I should feel that I've done some due diligence before I spend another company's money on (what they would see as) a toy! Appreciate your help 👍
  13. Hi I'm after some help from the crawler community. I want to explain how diffs work to non-mechanical people, so they can see it working before they go and experience it for themselves on an off-road track. I think using an RC is a great way to do it. I'm looking for a RC that will drive with an open diff and then be able to effectively 'close' the diff on the transmitter rather than manually. I think the Traxxas Summit and TRX do this for the front and rear axles but am not 100% sure. So my question is; Does any RC have a remote lockable diff on front, rear AND centre diff? Are there any other RCs that can remotely lock any of their diffs? Many thanks in advance,
