Redcat Kaiju 1:8 scale 6S ready monster truck

The Redcat KAIJU - 1:8 Scale MT – RTR- 6S Ready is a Beast!

The Redcat KAIJU 1:8 Scale MT Brushelless 6S ready Monster Truck is powerful and purpose built and will accept single or double LIPO batteries. The Kaiju can handle a single 6S LIPO or double 3S LIPO batteries. If you prefer to run 4S through the Kaiju, you’ll be happy to know it is also capable of running a single 4S LIPO or double 2S LIPO batteries.

The Kaiju’s power and high-performance comes the 2100kv Hobbywing brushless motor and 150A ESC. All that power requires strength and lasting durability, and the Kaiju has certainly succeeded. Steel CVA drive shafts with captured joints, steel internal differential gears, 17mm aluminum hex hubs, rubber sealed ball bearings, sealed drivetrain and extra durable plastics are some of the performance and durability components standard on the Kaiju.

The Kaiju’s beautiful paint and a realistic decal set really make this truck stand out. The Kaiju even includes little luxuries like body clip lanyards that will help ensure your time is spent ripping through the dirt with the Kaiju’s aggressive tires, instead of shuffling through it, searching for lost body clips.

The Kaiju also includes a realistic looking and durable front bumper, with D-ring shackles and clear LED lights. Two red LEDs illuminate the rear of the Kaiju. This is one amazing monster truck.

    Price: $399.99

    New trailer for the kaiju.

No red flags that i can see. (besides the misspelling of brushless looooool)

No red flags as the vid was so slow and boring I feel asleep before the end so if there was I missed them 😂😂  is it just me I did that guys voice want you to pull him out the screen and shake him 🤷‍♂️ Not what you call a killer promo vid that’s for sure.

One thing I did pick up on the suspension is rock solid it bounces all over the place like a bone shaker.

well you can always change the shock setup so that shouldn't be a big deal

This video actually shows the truck doing stuff, suspension doesn't look bad here either

that looks much better but I think it’s still too stiff, maybe they tuned it for harsh landings, lets wait for move vids, I’m sure they will be releasing more of them...

😂😂😂. Sorry but jumping off a small pile of dirt isn’t really doing much, these vids certainly aren’t selling it to me so far I’ve seen nothing my old stampede 4x4 wouldn’t do and let’s be honest as much as I loved that thing it wasn’t the best monster truck out there 😂

I'm with you on this so far.

Wait till independent folk have got their hands on it.

Looks an interesting product for sure but the videos haven't done anything for me.

Well I mean there's only about 5 mins of content, 4 minutes of which was crawling, so of course you haven't. This thing runs 6s, which your stampede couldn't do, and it's basically the same price 🤷‍♂️.

Actually my old stampede was cable of running 6s 😉. Bonkers as hell mind you and completely insane 👍

Looks quite impressive, fair breakage given the temps, 18F isn't much over freezing.

I just watched it. Didn't look nearly as bouncy and overall looks decent. Certainly got a glowing review.

A good stock servo is nice to see!

Just watched it and I'm very impressed. It's definitely a very beefy truck. I think this could potentially be one of the best bang for your buck vehicles out there. Kinda reminds me of the 6s outcast but $150 cheaper.

Gonna have to wait for more videos to form a proper opinion

This kept me awake from 0320 this morning, his car said 18F, correct? That's -8C, below freezing, not above! But the ground was wet!? If so, it did extremely well!

It didn’t looked like freezing cold but most probably cold enough for plastic to break so no wonder, the suspension looks still bit too stiff but nothing lighter oil wouldn’t fix, I’m impressed so far 👍

Now that looks much better I have to say 👍

Still looks on the stiff side and maybe that and the cold was why the arm broke 🤷‍♂️  Possible weak spot there though as it looks like it broke right at the end of the joint 🤷‍♂️

Depending on if we see it here in the U.K. and parts support here it might be a winner but so far all we seem to get here from Redcat is there crawlers last I checked plus parts support here wasn’t great either

I think this could be the beginning of a rebrand of sorts for redcat?

I have never ever seen a basher from them that looks half as good as this. Lots of people including me want one. If the demand for it is high then maybe parts support may be better. We got the blackout trucks here so I thinks there's definitely a chance we'll get this

I actually emailed redcat asking about UK stock. They haven't got back to me yet

Dont maverick handle redcat over here distributed by hpi. Well before hpi Europe went down. It looks cool but like others redcat just never appealed to me. I like the tires though straight copy of prolines mx badlands almost.
