mine charges in around 15-20 minutes, but I usually only have a couple of batteries on charge at once.
Try them one at a time, see how long. I am usually chargiong off mains too, not from a battery pack. If it's not a pack you know, then it's probably life expired.

I have seen stories of these burning out due to overshooting.
Mine did make a bit of a mild buzz until forced an extra mm or so by hand.
I have improved it slightly. But I did not unplug the servos and the winch starts winding itself in when the transmitter is in config mode and jammed. So I just wound it all the way out and tried a few times, just being quick setting up the servo.
The FTX logo on the front and back is almost the same shape as a Ford badge!
2WD is nice to have, definitely improves turning circle and high speed nimbleness.
But have to remember that the rear axle is still locked when free-wheeling so probably not as good as remote locking diff's front and rear๐ค .....(Might need to get an FTX Tracker one day๐)
I attached a spare wheel from a Zorro, also using the spacer from the body shell of my Torro.
The mounting point on the tailgate is quite sturdy as it is part of the bumper body-mount plastic ๐
no shouldnt take that long unless bats are really deeply discharged or knackered

are you using a mains adapter or batteries to power charger ?

vallejo AFV Vietnam Olive drab set ( 50-50 olive drab and russian green ) a main
olive drab was painted over the vallejo primer and left to cure dry (a month) a semi tone
lower was added (olive drab was given a 5-1 with russian green ) and sprayed overtop the
olive drab. speckling was added via a open faced sponge torn and dipped into 1:1 mixture of russian green and drab olive
sponged onto a bare wooden table top and then applied to whole of tanks surface.
front gun mussel block and brake block given a fine dabbing with a fine filbert brush using vallejo Nato black
add to the heavy fired blackened look (lobbing arti shell rounds and not hunting/scouting)
