  5. What about the Arrma Talion? V4 version below but I know the V3 version is on sale now with big savings to be had (because the new ones are out). Link: https://www.modelsport.co.uk/arrma-talion-blx-6s-v4-2019-rtr/rc-car-products/440201 Caerphilly is lovely. Plenty of places to bash an R/c I'm sure but that's not my game, ...I'm purely into speed runs so look for smooth long roads. ?

  6. Gmade 1.9 Beadlocks and Proline Flat Iron Xl Tyres with stock memory foams. Both wheels and tyres have seen roughly 10 runs or so. We're originally fitted to my SCX10ii and then on my TRX4. Nice heavy beadlocks which have a few marks on the edge of the rim but look great. Tyres are only just broken in but perform great now and the standard foams aren't bad either as long as your rig isn't ridiculously heavy! Only selling as I want to run portal cover weights on my TRX4 and these wheels won't fit (fit fine with stock covers). Tyres - SOLD Wheels - SOLD Payment via PayPal G&S only and shipping to the UK only.

  9. Im hoping to hear of some gold coloured 1/8 big bore shock springs. Strong springs preferable. That would be suitable for hot bodies truggy shocks. Im only guessing most springs 17mm will fit most shocks 17mm or 16mm whichever lol. Could it work? Yellow Hot bodies springs would be fine but i dont think they are strong springs. My truck is 5kg or 10lbs idk if thats heavy weight yet but its 3pbs heavier than my slash which i know is a heavy weight slash. But this was an ultra light weight before i added stuff lol. So im hopeful is lighter than a savage xl lol. But ide like to get better springs and really would rather colour coded. Suppose black springs would work too. Any recommendations. Were close to launch day once proline mx38 are stocked waited so long my copper coin jar will fund them lol. I just hope it really is this time.

  10. That's the 27Mhz version of the radio, they don't come with a failsafe built in like 2.4Ghz radios have. The only way to get it to apply brakes is to get a separate failsafe unit to connect between the servo and receiver.

  16. The ftx canyon is utter crap and probably put you off another crawler.beggars belief why it’s talked about in the same circles as the scx10.2, Trx4 and Carisma coyote. scx10.2 rtr comes in under budget and doesn’t need hundreds spending on it, yes it needs tweaks but then they all do.... alternatively the Carisma coyote or lynx. but hey, it’s your cash at the end of the day and only my opinion from the years of experience and expense

  19. Kanyon has weak body mount points - Video 1 and Video 2 Have you considered Carisma? https://www.modelsport.co.uk/carisma-scale-adventure-sca-1e-coyote-rtr/rc-car-products/423175 You could have a complete runner (Truck + charger etc) for £290

  20. Thank you. I'm impressed with the TRX-4 too. Thank you. More to come soon. Thanks for the kind words. I considered the TRX4 when they brought out the sport. But when the kit came out i decided to get one for sure... Thanks very much ? Thank you Gaz, much appreciated. Couldn't agree more about the TRX4. So much thought gone into it. And the quality is way better that other similar kits I've built. Oh, and the shocks are sublime... I use a mix of 5mm tube and solid rod. I bend all my tubing round a bearing and use a file to push the tube tight. The rod is a little harder but manageable. This is the simple bender that i knocked up. I mount it in my vice. And here's what i mean about using a file.

  21. Just read this whole thread, had my bullet for about 2 years now. its the nitro version has easily 70+ hours use on it, and got to say its been fairly reliable. the only time its broke is when i didnt land a jump right so totally my fault. Had the dog bone issue, i bought some stock parts and heat treated them myself, they still break but very rare now. iv had two sets of bearings in the truck as old ones just collasped. Front hub replaced and thats about it, been a good truck so far. i have upgraded a few parts, the air filter is rubbish so i have a car breather filter fitted ( i know the filtration isnt as good as a foam filter but engine still runs spot on with no problems even after 2years of abuse!!) made loads of difference in terms of power, these aint the fastest trucks out there in nitro form but iv got to say was impressed when i fitted this oversized filter! I also fitted a race pipe from the savage, made a little difference but nothing mayjor but looks nice I fitted the cassis brace kit and iv fitted the cvd's just on the rear (this is where i had most trouble, since fitting these almost a year a go there still fine!) Have a spektrum kit fitted aswell and thats it. never had any trouble with it unless its been down to my bad driving! i do bash this quite hard but im not as hard on my bullet as some maybe. im not sure where to go with it when my engine finally packs up, wheather mount a savage big block engine (5.9) in and see how that goes (will have to upgrade diffs etc) or go and convert it to brushless power.... Also still running the stock servos, supprised that they aint given up yet as iv driven this through some pretty wet terrain, will upgrade to savox servos soon Have all the lipos ill ever need as i have plenty of brushless truggys and cars so could convert to brushless quite easily... Also my shells look past it now, am i right in saying savage bodys fit this? sure iv read it somewhere that savage bodys fit the bullet, but i may be wrong...
