  1. I've found just what you're looking for! The seller is obviously a member of some "Just For Laughs Club" , you'll have many wonderful hours with this exceptionally overpriced Schumacher Truck. It's located in 'cloud cuckoo land' just left of the Angel Of The North 🀣🀣
  2. Hi AJ πŸ‘‹ Now then Nitro... 500 Quid you say? I have a feeling that ShengQi is yours πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ‘
  3. Longtime no comment. I thought I'd take a look at RCs on ebay and came across a ShenQi Hummer 30cc, I'm glad I was sitting down because the asking price of £450 + £9.82 P&P had me laughing and in shock that anyone would even embarrass themselves asking that much for an RC that is well dated as are the parts. It could have a 200cc engine fitted and it would still only be worth £4.50 including post and delivery . Then to add even more self humiliation the seller has also added in the description 'FG Marder Monster Truck Baja', come on, seriously! The most expensive part when new was the box it arrived in😳 🀣😎
  4. Check the wheels too haven't melted at the back
  5. Take the wheels off and check the grub screws in the wheel squares , if they are lose the wheels won't turn .
  6. Sounds like the drive square (s) that are grub screwed to the drive shafts could be lose , that will cause the the shafts to turn but not the wheels when on the ground. Take the wheels off and check the metal squares , they'll be a flat spot on the shaft that the grub screw fastens down on, if it is that then you should buy new grub screws and a bottle of thread lock to keep them in place. Let. Me know if that is or isn't the problem?
  7. Have you got a damaged/broken gear tooth? Something stuck in the diff gear wheel?
  8. By the sounds of it , your throttle needs to be slightly adjusted, if you look at your manual you will see the throttle screw (should be a nice shiny one being a new engine) very slightly and very gently screw it inwards , keep trying to start it . You should keep the choke off until you have primed your engine with the primer bubble ( about 5 or 6 pumps ) then flick the choke on ( make sure the choke is already in the OFF position, check your manual for the position settings),. Your engine should now fire up. Also... Because it's a new engine it's always possible that the spark plug could be a little loose so check that first! Also check the HT cable is securely pushed onto the plug. Once you've primed the engine on the fuel bubble and flicked the choke ON , you need only give the starter one good pull then flick it OFF and pull on the starter again until it fires up
  9. Hi Paul, Have you managed to get your engine running?
  10. The seal under the cap is caput, and an alloy cap is not going to make any difference apart from make it shiny until you run it and it ends up un-shiny
  11. You need to remove the fuel pipe, plug and exhaust and get the excess fuel out by pulling on the starter cord quickly until it's gone. You might also need to clear the exhaust out before refitting. It's not over fueling, you're flooding it.
  12. Although good compression , it might be the piston ring that is worn once warmed up.
  13. I'll let you off, I thought you were someone else.
  14. You said in your earlier post you'd been looking into tracks in South Yorkshire? One would assume that you're looking to race as that is what they do at tracks.
  15. Fastest? Speed doesn't make you a good driver. Being able to negotiate bends, straights, jumps bumps and ruts is what makes a winning driver. You can have the "fastest" car on the track but unless you can drive then having the fastest car there is only going to slow you down. You get speed from RCs by upgrading engine parts and exhaust systems , it also helps if you fit quality bearings and radio system and know how to tune the motor correctly and like I said above.... Being able to control the RC is what wins races.

    Kyosho 101

Random question here but does anyone know of a bloke from Nantwich, Cheshire who goes under the name KYOSHO 101 on Preloved ?
  17. Yeah, it's gone down the bog. It used to be a busy forum where it's members used to have a good time and no one was offended by soppy jokey words.
  18. Which Baja? FG? Hpi? FG 4WD kit been out for donkeys years
  19. I'm using King Cobra Racing Venom MAX made by Rock oil
  20. That's sounds like you could have a signal issue . Turn your radio gear off and see if it does it then, if not then you've got to interference if I've read your question correctly on my tiny phone screen.
  21. Anyone got a safe and proven way of removing carbon from the top of a piston?
  22. It is clear that the new shaf is different from the original, have you any way of grinding that lip back? if not I would contact RC modz and get either a refund or a exchange, you've more chance of knitting fog than making those fit.
  23. Power means nothing unless you can drive your RC and a novice would soon notch up a fantastic repair bill .
  24. I don't use them anymore bud. I'm too old and grumpy now. ?
