So it did start after a few pulls, but put carb back on and it wont start!? Checked gaskets and all holes line up!? Could the oil I'm using be no good as its probably year half old maybe! Thanks malc

I'll try the hairdryer, I did reset the H and L needles

Yeah its good, like I said its only had max 1 tank of fuel through the the engine!

After my car sitting for a long time I've decided to try get it going again! Fresh fuel New plug But no luck! Brought a new carb, new fuel tank and new coil, fitted it all tried starting but still nothing! It did try but now nothing! Got a spark, tried putting some fuel down plug hole but still no! Maybe the battery is at fault? Baring in mind the engine has had only a tank through it max! Any help would be appreciated before I think about buying a complete engine! Or anyone in high Wycombe area who knows more about this that could help. Thanks malc
