  1. All sorted.. There was a second choke device on the air filter housing operated by a lever underneath the choke lever! I've reset carb and she runs!
  2. Hi, Today i tried to start and run in my brand new Marder with Zenoah 26cc engine. She tries to start but will not run as i seems to be over fueling. I checked the needles settings which was ok. The only way she will start if you pinch the fuel line and pull starter. She will run for about 5 seconds and when you release the fuel pipe it will flood itself! I managed to get it to tick over by winding the low needle to 3/4 turn from closed and the high 1 turn from closed... but its still miles too rich and will not respond to throttle as it bogs down and then stalls.... advice please as im new to petrol
  3. Hi, i have just purchased a mi1 for indoor carpet racing. What size brushless motor and pinion would you recommend to start with? The circuit is in a small hall with loads of tight turns and roughly one 15 metre long straight. I`m new to indoor racing as any advise appricated
  4. i know all about the nagging! I was tinkering on the idea of a baja ss
  5. Hi, Just want to know whats the performance difference between the 813 and 990? I know they are basically the same carb, except accelerator pump fitted in 813. I want a carb to improve my low down pick up, not worried about top end and was thinking that the 813 would be better due to the pump? Plus, Why is the 990 more expensive than the 813? would of thought it would of been the other way round!!!
  6. sorry, not for sale now.... going to keep it
  7. totally agree with Nitroholic with the above statement. I have had my blackout for a few weeks now and i love it! its only had 1 grub screw come loose on a driveshaft and thats it! Getting a cpi exhaust soon from a member off here..... can`t wait
  8. Hi, i will be changing my exhaust for a cpi. Will i benifit from changing the carb as well? Which is best walbro 813 or 990? is it a straight change over? do i need to up-grade the air filter as well? sorry about all the question just lately, i`m new to petrol cars
  9. cpi it is then! Silly question, does the exhaust come as a complete kit, e.g gaskets etc? plus, does it fit under the body shell ok or do i need to do some trimming?
  10. my servos our ok at moment, but very noisy Will be up-grading to hitec HS805 servos when 1 picks in !!
  11. where did you mget them driveshaft boots from?
  12. Hi, i am tinkering on the idea of up-grading my exhaust on my blackout. I had a look around, i presume the exhaust for the redcat rampage is the same as mine? I really want a exhaust which fits under the bodyshell like the original one does, as i`m not keen on the look of the exhaust which are on the outside. Any ideas or recommendations? what your views on these 3:- http://www.largescalerc.com/050024-aluminumtunedexhaustforrampage.aspx or http://www.largescalerc.com/CPITunedPipeforRedcatRampage.aspx or http://www.largescalerc.com/x-canexhaustwithtwinstingertips.aspx
