Hi my 5b when started the revs seem to increase when I press the brakes on the transmitter, would this be a air leak or clutch spring? Haven’t had a look into the clutch yet Any suggestions thanks

Thanks for the replies have ordered a new part the guy didn’t know much about it selling it, so i keep unearthing hidden treasures when pulling it apart and servicing it 😊

Hi all use to be a member years ago when Baja first came out, I managed to pick Up a genuine hpi Baja ss the other day for dirt cheap when viewing he talked about the pull cord wasn’t very good but this to me was a easy fix as it happened on my previous 5t the Main problem is when trying to start the Baja the cord will only turn over the engine maybe once the whole length of the cord it seems not to engage with the flywheel i stripped and cleaned the pull start but notice some wear on both the pull start and flywheel do I need to get a replacement flywheel or just a new pull start thanks for the help
