So I bought a Yokomo MR4-TC chassis a while back for little more than beer money, at the time I still had my TT01 so it basically just sat collecting dust for the last year. Just lately I've been getting the urge for drifting again so I decided to dust off the old Yokomo and install some electrics, and get a new shell for it. I fancied a change from the usual drifters, so I went for a Mitsi Evo VI. I've painted it in Tamiya Gunmetal Grey, with black roof, bonnet and boot. I also fitted a rear wing that came with the beaten up AE86 shell that I got with the Yokomo. I finished it off with some Ansmann 6mm offset drift wheels that I had lying around. Some pics (sorry about the quality): Really happy with the results, yes the window frames could have been tidier but they aren't too bad. Love the stance though Electrics wise for now it's running the EZRUN 13t combo from my Blitzer. I'll get some vids up later

well where allways give you any tuning help we can,and you can have a little go on the track bettween heats,get a taste for the track,and your see a lot of different makes and engines,if your sorted on the tuning front come down and race for the day,i wouldnt be raceing if it wasnt a good laugh,withing 10 mins your be better than you thought,plus at the moment we lots of newbees so,you get to race peiople that are as fast as you,we got transponders for hire and even feul for sale at club rates.pm us or rcrookie ,if your comeing down

chassis ain't that dirty compared to mine camera flash hides how dusty she become may do a thread no1 pro was fully alloyed an had superb handling (was my racer till smash at track shelfer ever since had 12 years) no2 pro (current runner & clean )

this time of year a engine heater/heat gun ,very handy,but like tuneing wait for the engine to warm up,if it still doing it on ide lean of the bottem end off,sounds like it a bit rich at bootem end,but wait till the engine warm to make the call

You can use pretty much any radio gear you choose as long as the rx fits in the box which is quite small..

XTM Mammoth should have a centre diff. Remove the front driveshaft and your truck won;t go anywhere. you would have to lock the centre diff. It's a load of work to make your car worse, and then more work to undo it. It will stress out the rear drivetrain too. 2WD cars are designed to be 2WD ... 4WD drive cars are not. Seriously, it's not worth the bother. You could have just as much fun hacking off one of your own legs and hopping everywhere.....

He needs to invent that device from "inner space" (1987 film) where he can shrink me so I can drive it.

Oh the quad track sounds very interesting!! I'll Defo try get the van parked up next time. I can always pass through that way with work so next nice day I'll try it out...it's pretty lame in Ruthin for bashing spots always got to drive somewhere to get a decent run. Be cool to meet you down at pontins or frith but now the weathers turning itll been hard to arrange a time with a dependable day!!might catch u there next time we get some sun....

Comes down to price, if its cheaper than a Bushnell then its a winner, if not, its a complete fail

Good choice on the Savage Xs but with the above you might as well buy the Savage Flux Rtr. I wouldnt bother with that Esc it isnt great, same for the motor. I have a mr02 mm was 27mhz with kt2, ballraced with pn 70 motor first few tweeks where: x speed motor alloy wheel nuts kyosho ball diff pn racing 64dp spur gear alloy steering bar polished pins orion 750 & 900 batts fetted am board some more upgrades an installed 2.4 board

The next hop up will be an out board motor and swap the wheels for ski's. : ) Si

new piston ring & head gasket if it aint been done for a while will give your engine a nice lil boost in terms of compression

I think alot of the fuss is driven by the media seems like there desperate for apple to fail coz it would make a great story I myself don't see the fuss either not too bothered what phone I have as long as it does what I want it to do and while I don't believe either phone is better I believe alot is down to what feels right for the person using it iPhone might be perfect for one person but unusable by another, my father in law has had two iPhones and recently bought a Samsung s3 but took it back after two days not coz he didn't like it or it was worse than the iPhone just found the iPhone easier to use obviously there are plenty of people out there that will always buy apple just coz it's apple but for me it was a nice upgrade coz I believe it to be alot different to my four I like the look,the feel,the screen size if it had gone bigger I think I wouldn't have upgraded as I'm not a fan of large screens again that's just my own preference, and the fact it's miles quicker than my 4 is a massive bonus for me my 4 was getting real bad but I had dropped it many times so it had its day really it was battered but they still gave me 140 cash for it even with a cracked back chipped front and 3G not working properly so all good!

How old is your MMM, was it new or used when you bought it? There might be damaged wiring which is easy enough to fix ( the little hole in the case for the rx and switch wires has a habit of cutting the insulation on older escs ). Non-warranty repair is only $70 if you contact castle directly ( + postage ), or you can send the esc to Logic RC who will replace it too. Much cheaper than whole new esc...
