hi people , i decided to sell my unimog scaler, it wasnt built by me it was built by someone with much more skill. Enjoy the pictures. the spec and details are at the bottom . thank you It is a custom built unimog using a carson hard shell. the roll cage is braized tubing and is nice and strong. front bumper is metal and all fixed to the cage. (looks awesom) the running gear is a losi mini crawler. custom alloy chassi rails. junfac wheel hub extenders standard mini crawler gear box and axles RC4WD tyres Axial 1.9 beadlocks. Tamiya ESC 3 racing winch Winch controller. 2 lights kits and battery WIll come with lipo battery which fit the model (in the side petrol tank on the rig) savox slim servo (40 quids worth)

well I bit the bullet and brought a unused 2nd hand blade 400 complete with 6xi tranny etc rtf ( never been out of its box) the guy had it as a gift from his wife and was terrified of it gonna take to my lhs for them to check over and help me set it up

The servo tape I bought came on a big roll. I can't imagine I'll ever get through it all. Still, those 160 pads for a quid is a bargain. They must have other uses though....I'm thinking one under someone's cup of tea when they're not looking!

im pretty new to this rc lark so when i bought my vantage i just picked up a couple of cheap 30c 5000mah 2s lipos to run with a leopard brushless combo , sure it was nippy but a little boring after a while so i saved some money up and at the weekend i fitted a castle sv2 sidewinder combo ..... chucked my crappy wifi lipo in there and yup it was defo alot better but the battery was getting a bit hot as was everything else , since then i ordered a turnigy hard case 2s 5000mah 40-50c lipo .... i tested it with the new battery after work yesterday and holy crap what i difference , its like someone stuck a rocket up it arse , i virtually shredded the rear tyres until they ripped off , the top speed is bonkers .. lessons learnt u get what u pay for ! ill never buy a cheap battery again

tried shooting the moon a few times and settings have varied but still get good results, it changes from night to night as to what settings you need so there is no definite setting for you to use its just a case of trying different settings to see what works best: the one below was shot at F20, 300mm and ISO 400 (no stacking) Moon by niallrbroome, on Flickr

I use a HK150 in my inferno and its brick solid, but i have mentioned in a previous thread that castles quality is dipping especially for how much their equipment retails at, id rather wait the 2 weeks and get a HK esc anytime.

thats either a maverick strada or hsp flying fish, if so, a tt01 would be much better than that. top end tourers are schumacher mi3/mi3.5/mi4, hot bodies cyclone, xray t2/t3/t4?, associated tc (up to 6) search touring car on ebay and see what pops up, usually the top end stuff is belt driven not shaft driven.

Finally took a few pics of the Vader. Still pretty standard with mud guards on the rear arms and a Baja 5T bumper & LED lighting kit. Inside I have knocked up a couple of Polypropylene battery holder to give the double banked 11.1v lipos a bit of extra protection. Just waiting for the Y leads to feed the 4 batteries into the 2 connectors. The additional Hump pack is there to run the lighting and personal transponder so it doesn't effect the main electrics at all.

Finally had someone with me to videotape the T-45 during takeoff and flight. As u will see in the video , underhand launching is very easy and the plane has power enough on 4 cell. Had about 4 minutes of flight time with the 3600mah 4cell and that seems short but its fun enough. Btw if u like the movie pls sub and rate Grts Dave
