  4. So... you want a cheap high quality brushless 4WD truck, 4S capable out of the box... cheap spares, but top build quality. Do let me know when you find one...because that's what everyone wants. Sadly...there is no such beast...not since HPI canned the 2350 Savage really. You can either have the quality...or the cheapness. The way I would go would be conversion..... The motor/ESC to run that is the biggest chunk of cash. Expect to lay out at least

  5. ive just got a ansmann virus 2.0 brushless 1/8 buggy and after only 1 battery through it, (2s at that) it really put a big smile on my face and the fact that i didn`t spend most of the day turning back onto its wheels. love it mate!!! one or two on here may disagree and i think most of the faults within r/c could be a friday built one so thats just down to luck really. paid

  9. Yeah....but a posh car you can still look at, sit in and admire. A kit that hasn't been made is just a pile of bits. Building it into a car devalues it's untouched status...and that I do not understand. I can understand people not running a car to keep it looking it's best...understand...but not agree with. If you bought a 250Gto and then had it dismantled and put into a huge packing crate, people would be quoting hte relevant sections of hte mental health act and wondering if they could have you locked up.

  10. but you realy should give all the resoning to why to choose a C rating as i have seen ppl just saying a certain C rating then 4 weeks later that person coming back saying there lipos ballooned, and then you find out they got the right C rating just not the right mah so that it wont put out the amount of amps needed for the application

  12. you need to remeber to add what mah you need with that 40C as you can get 1500mah with 40C dischage and that will not do so to clear things up you need 5000mah with a min of 30C because not many 1/8 systems will pull much more than 150A why 5000mah and 30C well you convert mah to ah witch gives you 5, you then take Ah*C rating = 5*30 = 150A

  18. I like watching the vids and all but this thread is funny as hell! I love the language being used in it: beef, u get be bled, haters XD thats some pretty 'G' stuff there. Fun and games aside. Yes your slash goes fast, as do most slashes, its not all about straight line speed on a road.. For a SCT its the balance of torque and speed that matters. I run a 2200kv MMM combo in mine. Its fairly fast. I haven't set it up for street speeds but its fast. I run mine on 3s, I tried 6s but its just stupid powerful and tears the wheels and drive line to bits. If you want speed as I have learnt, go buy an on road racer, you will get far more bang for your buck, the slash is an off road car. I reckon you should get an on road just to see how far you could push it man, you evidently love speed and it could be really interesting. There is a nice 550 castle motor (4 pole) that I have on order that I am gonna run on 3s with a mamba max, the problem with running this bigger systems is weight. For jumping its not great. Also I for one think nick is trolling. He set up the whole forum as a giant troll. Its been his plan all along, to get to this point and troll the RC community, ISN'T THAT RIGHT NICK? COME CLEAN

  19. Right last time...............IT'S A PROTOTYPE!!!!!!!!! So whats to say Fathead that all your "comments" wont be dialled out before the final production run? For christ's sake, sorry for having the rant but the Chinese get slagged off for cloning and it would now appear they get slagged off for trying to do something new, how's that bloody work?? How's about waiting to see the final model first before slating it?
