This is the standard flux one and will fit straight on the 3.5 to the 2 diff mount holes: I don't know any others that fit at present.

It does have an extra outer mounting hole in it and I recommend drilling the extra one in chassis for more strength. The mount can snap in a head on.

 

May need this if motor is over 42mm can diameter: (ie flux tork 2200)

If you look at the Truggy chassis for example (don't have a buggy one) you will see where the leg sticks out on the orange center mount there is an extra 3rd hole next to the 2 normal center diff mount holes (between the 2 screws) That's the extra hole I mean

What weight diff oil would you guys recommend for the buggy flux? I was going to lock the centre but I think I'll try 50k as a starting point but I have no idea for front and rear. I only bash on dirt and grass, no racing for me.

50c will be fine. I use 10f 30c 7r in the Truggy these days seems to give a good balance. Tried 20f 10r before and it spun out a lot so I assume the buggy would prob react the same.

The Vorza flux uses 5f 100c 5r .

 

I would go with 10f - 50c - 7r myself.

I'd get these 3 fastrax oils together, works out at ok price and I've had no troubles using it. They only do 60k round that weight but is close enough

Thanks, I use Fastrax shock oil so don't have a problem buying their diff oil. I'll try that combination and see how it goes.

That's what I want to know too?? 

 

All I can say is my chargeable AA's could go at least 1.45v easy (1.2v nom) so if I have 5 of those together I would get 7.25v total. Makes sense but does this equasion follow with a hump pack too?

 

Edit: Going to bench test my rx + servos in a bit in the D812 and see if owt blows up at that voltage  never dealt with hump packs b4.

 

Edit: I'd say it's right from the maths above and the servo's or rx have some kind of regulator built in.

Just did a rigorous 10 mins bench test with Savox 1256 + 1258 and all was fine.

Dropped 0.5v so I reckon this old 1200mah I have will go about 40 mins!!!

Need a larger one me thinks or 2. Those Savox are noisy. I was thinking of a life pack but spending double money for the same capacity as a hump doesn't make sense to me especially when you can get a reasonable 1600mah hump pack for like around £10.

 

All I need now is a better wall charger for it too the one I found lying around charges at 75mah yes not 750, 75!   not worth getting the 400w + psu jobbie for the flux out.

Would have been better to tap a molex on the pc for charging something that small yellow=12v+ black=grd instead of hacking the xbox

I must admit you're onto something hacking the xbox brick.

The general brick psu's you can get don't even come close to the power of those and for almost identical price. All I seem to see is 7A 84W which will just about do an Accucel 6 80w.

Hi guys, long time no see, im now getting the gt our of hibernation ready for if the weather actually gets reasonable enough to get out

 

Heres's a little ebay spend to get me started

 

 

Not too bad for £13 posted, i also have a pair of de racing (i  think) d8t mud guards on there way tòo, axles stripped and new bearings on, bumper bracket being repaired, now just to get a new piston/liner or new engine and clutch shoes and ill be ready to run

That's exactly how it works in my house except I have morning to myself. Everything get stripped down then it goes in the shower.

I wouldn't wd bearings myself, dries them out and fail prematurely.

I left my Blitz dirty if there was only going to be a few days between bashes and it showed. The Trophy is easy to clean in comparison, everything just unscrews from the chassis. I'll keep it up, at least until the novelty wears off

A bit of grease on the bearings should help to keep moisture out but too much will attract dirt. I just use wd40 but as Daz says, it's not ideal. Bearings are fairly cheap though.
