Could have been worse had it not been for my UberRC front bumper.... I came to rest against a tree with the baja still revving its nuts off and that was the only damage... cant really complain

:good: :good: To UberRC! :D

drill an tap the front hubs so they use a bolt instead of the dreaded E-clip

You don't get your front wheels ever falling off again :good:

Looking good though fella it's really coming on

I see its made your mind up about keeping the front bumper now then

 Yeah, definetly gonna be keeping the front bumper now.... Function over form after all :P

Still got 3 orders on the way from DDM... :D but i think customs might have them as they are taking ages to come through :(

Will keep you all posted :P

Oh - Also planning on a snappy RC fuel line kit thing as i'm sick of a leaking gas cap :(

Heads easy enough to do mate as long as you take your time and lube up the inside of the head and pison in two stroke to make things slip in, and out, in and out, in and out (..) without too much force as to avoid damaging the plating :good:

The baja done me proud today! :D took a hell of alot of stick and came back for more.. (after some 'maintenance' on a couple of occasions..).

Went down to the NEB bash in Hartlepool and had some fun, unfortunetly when we got there we found dads head cracked (again..) so he didnt get any running - unless 3 meters counts.

Pics....

------------------------------

And now to my baja :P she done well, only a little damage (and nothing to stop me running - good job i had dads there to take spares from.. whistling.gif )

Damage consists of 2 drive shafts, 1 shock shaft, 1 spark plug and 1 steering rod, Not bad considering the size of the jumps we were doing, I only have 1 video unfortunetly but i hope others got more

and some photos of when i got home..

Well, i started cleaning the baja today and evaluating the damage that i caused, and as i feared all was not as it seemed when i started dismantling her. I found a knackered front lower arm so have ordered RPM ones to replace that corner and also the 2 front tower supports need replaced so i have ordered some Silver alloy GH ones, Also decided that i wanted a new shell so went for MMR's MMR monday offer of the proline undertray and desert rat shell.

The cleaning is going well, i have managed to do about half of the front end.
