Right i have a terrible problem with the old OWB in the 18cv-rx

Even if the shaft is nice and clean - it dont wanna turn the engine over - it slips

I tried cleaning and its made no difference

And continually spraying WD40 AINT my answer....

Cause i get through so much...

You looked at OS no.5 OWB and Pullstarts?

OWB = £22

Pullstart = £33

Total = £55

Sumet tells me i cud have a new engine for that much

I had an idea :)

The OS starter shaft is TOO big for the HPI t-15 OWB

If i got my grandad to turn it down so that it fits? should it work? as long as not to much is taken off that air leaks between the shaft and backplate :)

lol, now you're getting silly. why make a modification to your engine just to put a owb on? just buy another.

Can you not get a new shaft???

i cant waste £22 on a new OWB

And the shaft is fine :)

The OWB has become worn out over time

So i need a new one

The OS has a really springy compression - so i really wanna get the rush evo back going :D
