Andy_LadRC Posted April 7 Share Posted April 7 Hi everyone, my son has the ftx tracer brushed monster truck. We run it completely standard with the 800mah li-ion batteries. I notice that the motor and battery do get quite hot as we run a pack through it. Even on tarmac and short grass, the motor gets quite hot to touch! Andy_LadRC Posted April 7 Author Share Posted April 7 Yes it has, I've just done a complete rebuild on it as well to check it all over. The spur/pinion mesh is perfect etc. The motor sounds fine and all the bearings are spinning freely. Just a bit baffling?
